Sundown Deli

Sandwich perfection. Went here on my 3rd and final day on molakai. Wish I had visited day 1 because I would have tried every thing on the menu. Had the blt w/avocado and tuna sandwich. So delicious. Maybe the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The oat bread was perfect compliment to the crispy bacon and thinly sliced avocado. The tuna sandwich was topped with yummy sprouts and green lettuce and cucumber. They do have coffee/mochas and open early so go here if u want a breakkie sandwich (the other coffee place in town was sold out of everything and coffee wasn't the best). They are very nice and have a cute place to boot!

Small (2x2 tops), cozy, cute deli, serving made on demand cold and hot sandwiches, and saimin. I had a hot turkey sandwich on a croissant that was excellent. My wife had a cup of saimin which was ono (delicious). The staff is friendly, the food was reasonably priced, and I recommend this if you find yourself hungry as you walk Kaunakakai town.
