Golden Cafe

A perfect example of takeout Chinese food. Store isn't overly extravagant but it doesn't need to be! The prices here are fantastic, the customer service is quick and easy. After over 15 orders here I've never gotten bad food or bad service. Please, if you're looking food that classic Chinese takeout meal this is the one!

I decided to try Golden Cafe last night as I just moved close to the location and was pleasantly surprised with my food order. Food was very fresh and tasty well seasoned with garlic, onion etc. the sauces in the stir fry were top, and meat was tender as well. the General Tso's chicken and sweet and sour pork wasn't encapsulated in a thick batter as you will find some places, instead was thin and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. I will definitely be back. Thanks I really enjoyed it!

A friend in Katy told me about this restaurant a few years ago. I have always love Chinese pork ribs, I also especially like their hot and sour soup. I order the large and take half of it home. Yummy. You need to try this place . I love it. It is loaded with all kinds of good stuff and cashier was so friendly and give me good service for order food.

I've been here pre damenic and right after the pandemic hit, decided to try them again since I was near their restaurant. Prices have gone up, like every other restaurant but it's still affordable and comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Beware the Jalepeno Chicken does not come w/ veggies besides jalepenos. I get this dish often @various restaurants and this is the first time I've had it served w/out any other vegetables. The wonton soup was really good and had 2 nice sized wontons, the egg roll was good, and the jalenpeno chicken had a good flavor but it wasn't spicy...and again it didn't have any vegetables besides jalepenos. I also didn't get any silverware in my bag. All in all I'll give them 4 stars as my complaints were pretty minor.

The food here is excellent! This was our first time here so we ordered multiple dishes. Shaggy Dog sushi, pork dumplings, hunan steak, special rice and chicken with vegetables in brown sauce. Everything was very tasty. It's a small place in a gas station shopping strip, but don't let that fool you. While there the takeout orders did not stop. The great variety of Japanese and Chinese food options is awesome. I highly recommend it!
