Katy Vibes

I've been going to Katy Vibes for a while now and realized that I had never taken the time to give them a review. I greatly appreciate this venue as it is a great spot to dance/socialize/eat/drink, etc in the Katy area. As someone who has lived on the NW side of Houston for much of my life, I am happy to have a place like this that is close to my side of town. I love to go there on Friday nights to get my dance on and love that I do not have to drive across town for that. The place is spacious and clean and the customer service is always great. The food can be hit or miss, but it's mostly good. The drinks are great too. The DJ is good, but could be a little better (start early with the dance music and offer more variety). They offer events throughout the week for those interested in karaoke and other types of things. Definitely worth a visit!

Wow, Latin Night... It was Spectacular. I want to thank you for the excellent service that our waiter Daniel gave us last night. He was a professional and connoisseur of what he was talking about and his attention was spectacular. Also to discover that he is a dance instructor 🙌🏼 Thank you very much, continue with your great work. Everything was wonderful and delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Upon waking in for the first time, it looked like a huge sports bar, which it is. Large screens with football on wide open spaces and a live dj. The server was nice and attentive. The food, was just ok. I had a chicken caesar salad and the spinach dip, which was supposed to be really good. The caesar salad dressing didn’t taste like caesar and the spinach dip was grainy. Then I did have a dark & stormy drink and it was very good.

We had a great time celebrating my birthday! Went on DJ Friday night and danced the night away! Really a great vibe! Would definitely go again! Customer service was great we didn’t like a drink and they switched it to something better no Issues. Wished they would rotate the line dancing, karaoke or Latin nights to Friday or Saturday! Would definitely recommend this place!

Food, drinks, service, and music from the dj were all great!! They even take reservations on Saturday for a birthday dinner, huge plus. This restaurant is actually fairly large with TV’s throughout; games playing, funny videos, playing and shows. This is a really nice place in Katy to hang out and have a great time. The dh plays a variety of music for all crowds. The drinks are really good, not watered down. The fireball and Long Island ice tea were really good. The only recommendation I would give is the ladies restroom was badly neglected. The toilets were nasty and filled with toilet paper. Some of the toilets were covered with pee. It might be helpful to have a runner who checks the restrooms on a hourly basis so it doesn’t get that bad, especially on a weekend day. Our table was also not fully cleaned, there were crumbs on the table. Those are the main two reasons I gave four stars instead of five. Our waiter, Tre, was very nice and helpful. He took his time explaining items on the menu since it was our first time there. He provided great service. I would definitely recommend Katy Vibes for a hangout spot and we will back. Just a few spots for improvement but overall it was well worth it and my dad had a great time!! There is also plenty of parking including handicap parking. They also have a lot of different shows they put on here, check out there website, it shows it all. There is also a cut off time for young kids, I believe it’s 8pm but definitely call ahead and check.
