Ventanas Wine Cafe

Believe it or not, I went there in the morning and they serve great Mexican Breakfast Tacos!!! You would never think they serve Mexican Breakfast Tacos, but they do. Also the rest of the breakfast menu looks very good which I plan to try in the near future. Very nice place to have breakfast! Quiet, beautiful infrastructure, aesthetically pleasing and clean. The staff were very friendly as well.

Katy, Texas is a fast growing area and with growth comes new opportunities for dining and drinking. One of the newer places to open in Katy focuses on wine and it is located close to the Katy Mills Mall. The establishment is Ventanas Wine Café. The inside of Ventanas is warm and welcoming, with dim lighting and mainly dark colors for a more romantic vibe. The seating consists mostly of tables and chairs, but they also have couches in the back, for a more home- like feel. Wine is the specialty at Ventanas Wine Café, like you would expect, but there is also beer. The total selections of beer number fewer than ten, but there are some good choices and the number could increase in the future. The wine list has something for everyone and if you’re not sure what you want, just ask the staff for recommendations. Ventanas Wine Café serves food to go with the drinks, with choices like sandwiches, pizza, and appetizers. A popular option is the cheese tray, since cheese matches well with so many wines and beers. Depending on how hungry you are feeling, Ventana’s has a food to match. They don’t serve large meals, but what they do serve is perfect for this type of establishment. Oh, and if you like live music, you will be happy to know that Ventanas Wine Café features live music on certain nights of the week and has an open mic night once per week. Wine cafes are nice places to unwind and Ventanas Wine Café is a good place for conversation and drinks. The comfortable interior, live music, and short distance to Katy Mills Mall and other area attractions make Ventanas a nice little place for an evening getaway.
