The server told us we came at the perfect time because they had just finished a party of 100. He was extremely nice and did not seem like they had just entertained that many people. Our food was hot, delicious and plentiful. I always enjoy the food here
Good Cajun style food. The crabcakes were thick and tasty. The alligator was a little thin and overcooked on the seafood sampler appetizer but the shrimp and catfish nuggets were also good.
Love Tad’s! Food is always yummy. My 16yo son and I like to sit at the bar and watch the games on. The construction over there is hurting them-power gets cut off cause the lines get cut, water gets shut off and it’s been this way for a while. Go support this local business more and get some great food!

My son got the catfish bites (huge portion) + deluxe chicken (grilled blackened chicken covers in cheese bacon and avocados).
I got the “you pick two” and opted for the fried shrimp (6) + chicken and sausage gumbo.
The combo is $15. Great lunch option!
We shared the crawfish queso. It’s his favorite queso in town. Seasoned amazingly with jalapeños and just the right spice. Loaded with crawfish tails.
Great place to grab great Cajun food in the Katy area. Our server was very sweet and consistently exceeded our expectations with attention and kindness. Though the service was excellent, the food was the real star here. Crawfish and catfish together was amazing. Not many places get fried mushrooms right, these guys got it perfect! Atmosphere was very fun and inviting. We'll be back!

I would like to start, by saying that our waiter Jordan was very inviting, very polite, and went above and beyond. The chicken and sausage gumbo was very, very good. The rue has great flavor and color. The chicken in the gumbo was very tender. I had the catfish and it was great. It wasn't Oily. It tasted awesome, not taste dirty or fishy. It was just good, good catfish, the corn meal and seasoning were spot on. This was my first time there and it will not be my last. Tomorrow night I will go there to get gumbo again. Just because it's gonna be cold and it tastes real good.
1st time here. The food was fantastic. Growing up in a cajun family, I am hard to please with some dishes, but they are spot on. Bravo!!!! The wait staff was exceptional, and Jordan went above the extra mile. We will definitely be back!
OMG what to say about this place it was awesome our waitress was great the atmosphere was awesome Houston Astros was playing baseball at the time everything was just really nice the food was Soooo Amazing 😋 I tried to take pictures of the menu but it was so much on there, but I would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in Katy Texas!! SHOUT OUT TO SHAUN!!! ❤ The dish I recommend is the Alligator it was off the chain but all their food is good!!😄
Second time here and good experience again. Had the Bang Bang Shrimp and a bowl of Jambalaya with chicken, shrimp and sausage.
The food is delicious!! Mimosas are sooo good! Great atmosphere and southern hospitality. Will definitely be back!
Had an amazing meal and experience dining at TaDs. My husband had a ribeye and grilled shrimp with a salad and sweet potato. Steak was cooked to perfection- the garlic butter added enough flavor that husband did not add A1- he always adds A1. I had the boiled shrimp- perfection. Salads were fresh and the house dressing was delicious. The dining experience was excellent- comfortable, great music, plenty of room between tables. Service was outstanding. I had the beignet fries for dessert - incredible! It has been a long time since both of us have enjoyed a meal of this quality. Highly recommend TaDs and we will be back again!

I loved the food! My fianceè suggested it and hasn't been able to leave it since! It has a great location, great food, and great staff that knows their stuff. If you want some excellent Louisiana cooking in Texas, this is your spot!
We stopped on our way back from out of town, and this place was 100% delicious and worth the side trip off of the main interstate. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and the grilled chicken sandwich. My daughter ordered the Crawfish Etoufeé. You can tell from the plated presentation through to the very last bite that they have a Chef who genuinely cares about the quality of the meals they're serving.
If I had anything to offer as a constructive criticism, it would be that they need a little more Cajun ambiance and influence in the decor and music. It felt like a typical restaurant with just a couple of items scattered around to kinda-sorta hint at New Orleans, but not much.
