I would like to start, by saying that our waiter Jordan was very inviting, very polite, and went above and beyond. The chicken and sausage gumbo was very, very good. The rue has great flavor and color. The chicken in the gumbo was very tender. I had the catfish and it was great. It wasn't Oily. It tasted awesome, not taste dirty or fishy. It was just good, good catfish, the corn meal and seasoning were spot on. This was my first time there and it will not be my last. Tomorrow night I will go there to get gumbo again. Just because it's gonna be cold and it tastes real good.

I can't say enough good things about TaD's Louisiana Cooking! We stopped on our way back from out of town, and this place was 100% delicious and worth the side trip off of the main interstate. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and the grilled chicken sandwich. My daughter ordered the Crawfish Etoufeé. You can tell from the plated presentation through to the very last bite that they have a Chef who genuinely cares about the quality of the meals they're serving. If I had anything to offer as a constructive criticism, it would be that they need a little more Cajun ambiance and influence in the decor and music. It felt like a typical restaurant with just a couple of items scattered around to kinda-sorta hint at New Orleans, but not much.
