Ethan was awesome even though we arrived closer to close than I normally like to. Food was above expectations, and prices were decent as well. Pitchers are pork chop,super nachos and a Frisco burger 🍔 all were very tasty.
This was my first time eating here, and it certainly won't be my last. I had the chicken fried steak and it is certainly Texas-sized! I want to try some other things on the menu next time, but I highly recommend the chicken fried steak! It is delightfully delicious!
Down home restaurant, cozy and friendly. Heavy duty tables and chairs, too. The chicken fried steak was one of the best I've ever had!! My wife got a burger and she loved it, also. The prices are reasonable, definitely a great value.
Fresh cooked pork rinds. Oooo so good. BLT made with homemade bread. If you are in this area stop by you will enjoy it all.

Was working nearby, decided to stop in and grab a bacon/jalapeño cheeseburger. Service was great. Food came quick and was hot and fresh. The hamburger buns were fresh and good. Very neat little place. A little pricey but that wont keep me from coming back and trying something else 👍

I don’t know where to start, this place is REALLY good. They have some of the best Burgers and Chicken Fried Steak, and their dessert are delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are in Katy.
We both ordered the chicken fried steak. One with fries, Mac & cheese, and the other with a baked potato and corn.
The food was good. We left with a full stomach, and the wallet was not much lighter.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back to try other menu items.

This place is simply heart warmingly, good down home Texas country food and welcoming family service!! There is a good wait to get in but it was ABSOLUTELY worth it!! The food is ALL homemade from scratch with the best ingredients in all of Texas. You will have a tootin time enjoying the free music

Have been in town for training. This is the most enjoyable meal I have had so far. Real country atmosphere and cooking. Don’t run across good restaurants like this very often. Kudos to y’all. Thank you for a great meal.
Delicious! Husband had the all you can eat catfish and loved it! I had the brisket baked potato and it was phenomenal. I’ve only ever had better brisket one other time. Super pleasant servers and great atmosphere. Won’t hesitate to make the 45 minute drive here again.
Good stuff! I got the South Padre salad with grilled chicken but dressing on the side. Dressing is great if you love ginger. Might accompany the shrimp better. I ordered balsamic and jalapeño ranch on the side as well and OMG their homemade jalapeño ranch is the bomb. I would go again.
Delicious super fresh! Loved the Texas trip appetizer and the chicken fried steak was well seasoned and huge! The large can definitely be shared! The service was really good too!! I would 100% recommend this place!
Absolutely amazing traditional American restaurant. Great selection of food, big Texas portions and reasonable pricing! The waitress was very professional and nice to us as well, which is becoming more and more rare these days. 10/10th would recommend! They have a back patio area and had live music
