Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano

Very nice restaurant. Food is good and portions are very large where you could split the meal. Shanna our waitress was great. Remember that you can order off the board or menu is a little cheaper. We ordered a caesar salad and a house salad. Did not care for the house salad because of some spice that was in it. The wine choices are good and also the desserts.

We took our neighbor to Da. Vinci's for her 81st birthday. You don't find too many restaurants like this anymore. It is very small, decorated to the hilt with Italian charm, white table cloths, attentive service, & great food. I am sure children are welcome, but it is a great place for a quiet, romantic dinner. My friend & I had veal dishes & my husband had chicken parmesan - all very good. There is nothing food chain about this place. The portions are generous & we did not have room for dessert. We plan to try their amazing take out meal - 3 courses for $16! The menu prices are not cheap, but not over the top. Unless you arrive before 6:30, I recommend reservations. This is definitely a hidden treasure you will want to experience!

One tip...make sure you get a regular menu in addition to the board menu they describe to you! We thought the board was the only items available. My friend has a seafood allergy and there were only a few items on the board she could eat. Why they didn't offer us the regular menu I don't know. She would have had lost of options then! They also are not as expensive as the board menu items. Place is cozy but does get loud when full of diners.

The food was great and super delicious but the only issue is that they are generous with cheese which makes the food salty. They are great for date night. Everything is so romantic. The waiters keep checking on us to make sure we are doing okay and I appreciate that. The decor is very nice. Overall, I loved the experience and felt very special.
