Review Tiki Tacos - Kapaa

We stop here multiple times each visit. We try different items but the carnitas is our go to with their fresh guacamole on the side. They are very generous with the meat and one taco is perfect for lunch. Filling but not overly so. Service is fast and polite. If you want Hawaiian style tacos this place is a must.

Have gone to tiki tacos twice and both times were amazing. We tried 6 different tacos and enjoyed all. My husband really liked the spicy chicken and spicy pork. I had a fish ono taco and a pulled pork both awesome. Also loved my chicken taco with the guacamole! The shells are thicker more filling amazing. The workers are super friendly and make good recommendations. Love this place may even stop back before our flight out Mahalo!

Great place, ESPECIALLY since it was our very first meal, fresh off the plane. Stellar service, you just love a place that everyone seems to enjoy their job and it shows. The tortillas a freshly made everyday and it shows… The energetic man at the counter was very knowledgeable and help me narrow down what meats. He told us you don’t need more than two tacos and I was struggling to finish the second one. Great amount of meat. I got the Kahlua pork and the flavor and cooked onions were my fave. I also got a marinated steak and that was fantastic but the pork was my fave. My husband got the spicy fish taco and said it was “the best fish taco” he ever had!! And he loved his spicy steak too. On top of that we had baby chick hanging out which was fun. Nice options with indoor and outdoor seating.

Came here for the first time a few days ago and was pretty satisfied with my experience. The wait was fairly short and the staff was pretty helpful as well. I order one steak taco and one quesadilla. The overall taste was amazing. The tacos tasted very authentic and was very flavorful. The only con is the price, I can’t really justify spending almost $10 on a taco. My partner and I both got two and spent nearly $45 for four tacos.

Do not be fooled by the modest strip mall appearance. This was the most passionate restauranteur we met our whole trip. I have no problem saying these are the absolute best tacos in all of Hawaii and quite possibly the best that I have ever tasted. I lived my whole life in Southern California and I have been eating authentic tacos for many years- these truly were as good as any you will find.

Absolutely fantastic tacos. We had both the fish and the chicken – – both were very well prepared and tasted great. All the food is freshly made by order and you can tell probably the best though is the service — great staff that patiently explains the menu to you and even offer a suggestions based on your taste preferences. I highly recommend a stop on the way back to your hotels after a long day at the beach or at the falls.

Lots of different taco options. I had the big kahuna fish taco, which is grilled ono with serrano peppers and the Kahlua pork taco. My wife had the same, Kahlua pork taco, and a fish taco (same as the big kahuna without the peppers). Tacos are a la carte and range and price from $9.75 up to $10 or $11. Everything seemed fresh, the pork was delicious. The tortillas are handmade and hot. Only downside is the overall price, which is probably relatively standard on the island I guess. I would come back if there weren't a million other places to try during my week here.

We tried the Mayan fish and the kahlua pig taco. The fish was good but a little dry. The pig was AMAZING. The tortillas also tasted really fresh. 9/10 recommend this place if you are in the area!

Tacos are made with fresh made tortillas which are thick and tasty. The kahlua pork tacos was really good. The asada tacos weren't as good but still tasty.

Best tacos I ever had! We tried Fish, Chicken, Lamb and Beef Taco. Everything was amazing. Make sure you add some homemade Guacamole. 😋

Go here!! This place is the best kept secret! It’s in a very unassuming “shopping center,” but do not let the exterior deter you from having the best tacos you’ll probably ever have. This place is so good we ended up going two days in a row! We got the marinated fish tacos as they come, and they were incredible. The corn taco “shell” is made right there and is so fresh. HIGHLY recommend you stop here!

The tacos here are amazing! Huge portions! I ordered 2 and could only finish 1 1/2. We love spicy and the spicy options here were great!

Tried Tiki Tacos for the first time yesterday. Wasn't sure at first since we were the only ones there when we arrived. Menu was packed with item names but the guy at the counter describes his favorites and we were sold! Jam packed large tacos. 2 filled me up and I was starving. Don't miss the Hawaiian Taco I chose chicken and can't wait to try the pulled pork. It has caramelized onions and pineapple. But it's done soo well with other ingredients the sweet doesn't overpower the taco. The spicy Fish (Ono) is not spicy at all. Packed with toppings and very good. I probably should have added hot sauce for an extra kick. These tacos need to be eaten quickly because the homemade tortilla is thick close to a dense thick Pancake, starts to fall apart because of the killer juicy delicious toppings. We must have just missed the rush because the place filled up right after we ordered. Local Hotspot! Glad we are right across the street to explore more from the menu.

- one of the highest rated taco places on the island, we came over to try these tacos. There wasnt too much of a line when we went and the lady at the counter was helpful. They have several different kinds of meats and flavors. We got the roasted vegetable taco and a pollo cabron taco. The pollo cabron was cheaper ($7.75) compared to a regular pollo and the difference was that it’s spicier. It definitely had a kick to it which hits you later on so I’d recommend grabbing a drink ($1 off if you check in on yelp) to pair with that. The roasted vegetables were just grilled veggies. There wasn’t too much on top of the taco although they were pretty generous in size. The lady said one is pretty big and start with that but I was fairly hungry and definitely could have eaten two whole ones. The food was delicious, didn’t have to wait long, and ample seating inside but I did think it was on the pricier side for a single taco despite the size (most of them were $10-12). Some other places will give you two tacos for this price. But if you want to try this highly rated place, come on over because the flavors speak for themselves.

Homemade corn tortillas, fresh local ingredients and generous portions! If you're looking for authentic Mexican tacos with a twist this is 100% the spot. They have a diverse menu... We got one roasted veggie, one fish and one beef taco All of them excellently flavored and delicious. They have a small seating area out front of the shop in the parking lot... And the nicest service. Will definitely be back!

We have been to the island 3 times and every time we stop here at least once!! Food is great! Love the Imu Kalua tacos!! Roasted Chicken is a must too!!

After a long and treacherous hike I came here in search of tacos! The chickens stood in my way of glory. They fought a valiant battle, but the water gun was too much for their little feathers to weather. I bathed in succulent fish and pork tacos with a touch of Mexican coke while laughing at my enemies!

You had me at homemade tortillas. This place is awesome. The tacos are tremendous. I had the spicy chicken (polo loco) and a regular chicken. Both were some of the best Mexican I've had. Homemade tortillas are so dang good. Made even the non taco options better. Also the salsa is amazing, could bottle it and drink it by itself.
