After arriving to our hotel, the Sleeping Giant Grill was an excellent first meal on Kauai! The staff was super friendly and our food was ready quickly. My wife and I shared 2 meals. Bean and Cheese Burrito: the burrito was really good, though I was surprised to find cabbage in a bean and cheese burrito. Fried Ono Tacos: these two tacos were amazing! After a long flight, they really hit the spot. The garlic cilantro cream, onions and fish all went well together in the soft taco shells. Highly recommend.

Fried ono fish taco was better than grilled. Shrimp plate special was good with plenty of rice. Poke bowl was a bit small and didn't have enough rice.

Might just be the best meal I had on the island. The shrimp plate was super fresh and cooked perfectly. Wife got the chicken plate which was awesome, super flavorful and moist. Staff was super friendly too as an added bonus! See you when we're back in Kauai!
