After arriving to our hotel, the Sleeping Giant Grill was an excellent first meal on Kauai! The staff was super friendly and our food was ready quickly. My wife and I shared 2 meals.
Bean and Cheese Burrito: the burrito was really good, though I was surprised to find cabbage in a bean and cheese burrito.
Fried Ono Tacos: these two tacos were amazing! After a long flight, they really hit the spot. The garlic cilantro cream, onions and fish all went well together in the soft taco shells. Highly recommend.
Fried ono fish taco was better than grilled. Shrimp plate special was good with plenty of rice. Poke bowl was a bit small and didn't have enough rice.
Might just be the best meal I had on the island. The shrimp plate was super fresh and cooked perfectly. Wife got the chicken plate which was awesome, super flavorful and moist. Staff was super friendly too as an added bonus! See you when we're back in Kauai!
Small restaurant with big flavors! Korean bbq chicken was great, waygu skirt steak was awesome, habanero chicken was good and hot and fish ono tacos were fantastic. Expect a wait but it’s worth it.
Visited here tonight for dinner during our stay in Kauai. Little hard for us to find. Tucked behind the coconut Market. We both got the teriyaki chicken breast. Came with rice and potato-macaroni salad. So incredibly tasty! Very reasonable! Sat outside with a cool breeze blowing. Perfect ending to a perfect day!
What a great find. Fantastic fresh food, super casual picnic like dining. This is a must if you have the munchies and happen to be in the area. we loved it so much we ate here several times. Call ahead to confirm the hours of operation as we found several areas around the island were not exactly as advertised on Google due to employment shortages. Love this place ❤️
A typical Hawaiian cuisine food spot. The food was good and the service was quick and friendly! They have a large selection of options for anyone in your group.
This place has some of the freshest food you will find on the island. Unfortunately it is only open weekdays 1-8. The wraps are great to grab and walk down to the beach and enjoy. Limited outdoor seating when it gets busy. Some indoor seating as well. I like both the Ahi wrap and ono wrap. I have also tried their grilled plates in the past and very delicious.

My favorite is Cajun seared Ahi sashimi salad - OMG - so good must try

Excellent service, good variety of food options for all and the food comes pretty quick and is very fresh and tasty. We had the Korea BBQ chicken and the teriyaki chicken and both were delicious.
