This is a hidden gem. My friend told me about it and we had lunch there. Their selection for lunch and of course their cupcakes is great. I had such a fantastic lunch there yesterday that I went back today for quiche and coffee. They accommodated by love for extra hot mocha. I even found out they have a sugar free mocha syrup. I'm so happy that my friend told me about this place. It could become a fattening habit though :)
Great service and very friendly staff. Awesome coffee and I loved their carrot cake cupcake and the Oh my gosh ganache was insanely delicious. I was sad when it was all gone. Will definitely go back!
Darling little cupcake shop with a large variety of different flavors. We enjoyed a carrot cake, peanut butter and chocolate ganache. So good! All the cake was moist and icing was awesome! Love this little shop.
An easy 5-star cup cake place. Fresh and rich icing. I could taste good quality vanilla bean on the butter cream. The cake part was delicious, right moisture and soft. Pre ordered 2 dozens of mini cupcakes and it was ready on time.
Amazing ganache cupcake and cappuccino- perfect treat between KC murals and Kaw Park! Glitter on top and surprise filling inside...YUM!

This was my first time at Kansas City Cupcake Co but hopefully not the last. I had ordered 30 cupcakes for a small party and we were not disappointed. There are ten regular flavors and I understand that they do others. I ordered 'Oh My Gosh Ganache', Lemon Velvet, Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, Ol' Fashioned and 'Think Pink'. All were very good. The cake was moist and flavorful. The icings were creamy and tasty. These were normal- sized cupcakes, reasonably priced at $2.65.
They also serve breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. They do special order cakes too. The shop is easy to see from the street and there is off-street parking. The shop is clean and inviting. It is the type of place one would want to sit, have a cup of tea or coffee and a pastry while watching the people and cars go by.
I like the cupcakes and the shop. Next time I will have to try some of their other offerings.

Beautiful, clean, well organized place, however the star of the show is the food. The burritos and sandwiches are super. The cupcakes extraordinary. I love the chocolate ganache. I heard this great place is closing at the end of the month. We are really going to miss you. Thank you for your commitment to excellence.
The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious, and my mom's surprise 50th birthday party was a wonderful success! Everyone was asking where I got the cake because they loved it so much. My biggest worry was the gluten free cupcakes, but people said they couldn't even tell they were gluten free. Complete success!
