This is a hidden gem! Located just seeing the corner from the STRC stop on Main at 12th (free streetcar transportation).
The perfect balance of oil and saltiness, the fried rice is primo! I had the Longan beef and it was made on the spot, super hot!
Make sure to get some of that fried rice and see if you can taste a hint of ginger...

It's a nice little Chinese restaurant the comb fried rice and combo lo mein are both good. I've heard the dumplings are really good but haven't tried them myself.

This is by far the best Chinese place in Kansas City, and the best Chinese food I have ever had. There is only one man working, however he makes the food as you order it so it always comes out hot and fresh. The man working is so nice and has great customer service, and I will always come back and get Chinese food here. I don’t mind the wait for this food, but he also does online ordering and have never had to wait more than 30 minutes. Overall amazing Chinese and would recommend to anyone!

This store is an act of love! love of food love of the people he serves. The food is traditional, authentic food from where he grew up in China. It is delicious and made with great care. It is unfortunate that most of his customers arrive expecting beef and broccoli style Chinese food. I hope he succeeds and enlarges the perceptions. There are 33 distinct regions in China with thier own style food culture. This food is great, it is fairly prices and the man who runs it is 100% dedicated to serving his customers ! I hope you try it and enjoy it like I did. I have eaten here many times!

It's a one man band, but that's also how you know that your food is being prepared right. He knows how to make Chinese food right. It is consistently good. They're have been times where I doubted that it would be see good as the previous time, and yet it's equally as good. The price is very fair because you get like 2 meals worth of food, and that's coming from a guy who can typically eat quite a bit. Give this place a visit, you wont be disappointed.

I should not have waited this long to try this place. Got shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon and an egg roll...really fresh good food. Crab Rangoon is delicate yet filled full of crab. Shrimp fried rice even had bits of cabbage and grilled corn. It was yummy and not over priced. The cutest gentleman in the world prepared the food and the spicy oil is to die for and they r open late! A must try for sure!

This small, takeout place in the middle of downtown has some of the most authentic Chinese food for a quick bite. It reminds me of the street food that you can get in China. The entrees give out a generous portion, and are light and not greasy, just like authentic Chinese food.
This place is great for lunch during the work week, but their best attribute is that it's also open later than a lot of other options around, allowing you to get a quick bite after work, or even on the weekends.

Pretty good! Had the Chinese burger and enjoyed it. Reminds me of a brisket sandwich (regarding the meat used), but the BBQ sauce is replaced with a savory Chinese sauce. Wait time was a bit slow, but food was still hot. It's a good spot for lunch. They also have noodles.

Food Quality and Taste is Very Good. They don’t Serve you some Ready food. They Prepare it right when you order and this might be time Consuming. It’s worth the wait. To manage my Lunch time during office hours , I usually call them up, order him what I want and I get exactly the same taste , freshly prepared food. Definitely a good place for Fried rice and LoMein.

Great food and prices! If you get the meal, it includes a salad and fruit as sides. They have a family sauce for their chicken, which is amazing! The food is definitely homestyle and not as sweet as typical Chinese, but full of flavor. The service is very personable and food is fresh.

This place is affordable, fast and tasty. I eat limited meat products and noticed they had tofu on the menu. The tofu had a great consistency and flavor. I am very picky about the flavor and texture of tofu so highly recommend the longan tofu and vegetable dish ($5.99). The house sauce and teriyaki are both delicious. The only vegetable option I noticed was broccoli, but personally I like broccoli and they give you a huge portion! The crab rangoon was incredibly creamy and lightly fried so that it maintained crunchiness without cutting your month with sharp edges. Five stars!

Authentic and quality Chinese food! If you want buffet style greasy combos, this is not the place. The wait is a little long as there seems to be only one guy working everything. Glad to have found this place!
