Came here for the Passport and the cocktails were amazing. Fresh taste alongside premium ingredients. The food blew all of our expectations away! The Sisig was to die for and the mussels were delicious. I would recommend the garlic fried rice to anyone even if you’re not a fried rice fan. Not your typical fried rice (as seen in the picture w/ the skillet). The food was great, but even better customer service.

I stopped in for a liquid lunch and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will absolutely go back to try the food. I had the Gumamela (sweet and tropical) and the Weng Weng (strong like a Long Island so make sure you’re ready)

Great local option for something a little different. Filipino cuisine with great flavors and lots of fun sauces and vinegars to try on the side. Lots of sweetness and lots of garlic in my dishes, loved it. Order at the counter, fast casual style, but thoughtfully prepared and plated. Loved the Sunday brunch menu, and the halo halo dessert!

Everything was delicious (how can you go wrong with pork belly? You can't) the staff was friendly and attentive. The desserts were fun and tasty, and the pomelo juice was SO GOOD :)

Incredible food, super authentic, and delicious. Owner and staff are helpful and knowledge. Very friendly. Large portions and take home boxes if you need. They are now offering curbside pick up. Drinks are one of a kind and fantastic.

Warm, welcoming, and delicious. KC Pinoy serves comfort food that is clearly lovingly prepared. Little touches like carrot flowers and a full selection of sauces make this a special experience.
For the best experience bring a friend so you can try more than one thing. Start with the classic chicken adobo and don’t forget the garlic rice.
The halo halo shaved ice dessert is charming and downright fun to eat.

Great little space to get some Filipino food in KC. The people working are nice. You get good sized portions for the price.
Tip: try items from the condiment bar. The citrus soy sauce the the flavored vinegar were great!

Modern, clean and serves good dishes from the Philippines culture! Food comes out relatively quickly and customer service is very hospitable. I recommend the pork on a stick and coconut veggie stew. Stay for dessert and try their halo-halo!

Really really great food. What a shame like many small businesses it didn't make it through the pandemic. I was able to sample a good selection of their menu before they closed (this Sat). Good luck to the owner and staff. Hopefully they will be back.

Genuine Filipino cuisine! I suggest getting anything on the menu because it's all great. Use the spicy vinegar as a little enhancer. Don't go to eat by yourself as the Filipino culture is to eat as a group. It's more fun and taste better that way!

I have had KC Pinoy on my list of places to try, and I was not disappointed today! The location isn't the best for people to just happen in to, so if you're looking for a new experience, an authentic experience, a pleasant experience, make this a stop. We had sisig, adobong manuk, Inihaw Na Liempo, buko pandan and cookies. the sisig is native to the specific area where the owner grew up, and it was my favorite! If you're not very adventurous of an eater, don't read the menu; just get the sisig and garlic fried rice and I promise you'll enjoy! Service was very attentive and helpful. Location is accessible and restrooms are not gender specific.

Newer spot across from the Golden Ox in the river bottoms area. The owner was very helpful and friendly, this was our first time here but our hosts had frequented the food truck multiple times before. We started with their Lumpiang (a tasty variation of the famous Lumpia-spring roll) and had the Logganista (pork sausage) and Tapa (thin sliced sirloin) both over a bed of the house garlic fried rice with sides of sliced tomatoes and cucumber topped with their runny fried eggs. It was all good for first timers. We finished off with their taho(silken tofu) which we found tasty but a bit too sweet. All in all, it was a good experience.

My favorite food truck in KC. The Pork Tocino (with Jasmine rice) is my absolute favorite! I always ask on their Facebook for Chrissy to make it if they are going to be at an event I will be attending. I usually get 2 serving just for myself so I can bring one serving home for me to eat over the next day or two, and one to eat right then and there. Yummy!!
