Sylvia's is run by amazing people that care about the community. They are constantly running raffles, fundraiser, etc. After 2-3 visits the staff remembered my name, what I order and seem genuinely interested in how my day is going. Overall, they are great.
Their sandwiches are an awesome lunch option. I usually get the Juliano, unless it's Tuesday, then I get tacos!
Comfort for Lunch. What a great little find! My friend, who was working near 17th & Washington found out about this place from some coworkers, so good information and a little spontaneity got us there. Great food and friendly service made us repeat customers. Sylvia’s Deli has everything you could want in a lunch spot. Excellent Italian style sub sandwiches (with a yummy special sauce), Reuben’s, daily homemade soup and daily warm plate specials. Great sides like good old fashioned pea, potato or pasta salad and AMAZING pies and desserts. Sylvia and her husband are always there to greet you and take your order. They remember your name and they are truly thankful for your business. Heck, during the Christmas season twenty customers win a gift that Sylvia shops for herself! She’s been doing it for ten years. Walking into Sylvia’s makes you forget for a minutes that you are in the busy hub bub of downtown and more like you are in your hometown corner deli.
Absolutely best sandwich shop. Would highly recommend the quick drive to anyone in the crown center area. Try any of the specialty sandwiches, they are awesome. The owners are amazing people as well.
My favorites include the Friday chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, & veggies but the best is either the delicious strawberry cake or the huge brownies. Good food, good price and friendly staff.

Aunt Sylvia serves up good food with warm hospitality. She makes everything with love, and every dessert is made fresh daily. Specials vary, my favorites are Meatball subs on Monday, and Taco Tuesday. Get here before she retires and closes shop. Love you Aunt Sylvia!
