The place was very clean. I went in with server acid reflux and told the lady my issue. I asked if they had any chicken that did not have breading. She said she would ask the cook if he could cook some plain chicken and veggies with rice and sauce on the side. He said yes. Even though it was plain (which is what I wanted) it still tasted good. It was cooked perfect. The waitress was super nice and understanding and I am very appreciative of that.

Delicious everytime. I have tried different items off the menu. I was actually sad one Tuesday, because me and mom were on a random lunch date while shopping. Favorite appetizer is the shrimp rolls, but you do have to order them earlier in the day; otherwise they run out.
I am sincerely glad to see my neighborhood go-to not only up and running, but BUSY.

My co-worker and I went inside to eat. We were both a little apprehensive, it is an old converted IHOP. Server was incredibly nice and treated us like guests in her home. I ordered the general Tso's and some Hot and Sour soup. Food came out in a timely manner and cooked very fresh. I was actually SHOCKED at how good it was. You could tell it was an actual chicken breast that had been cut up and breaded, instead of the artificial nugget looking things everywhere else. The Hot and Sour soup was a little spicy and flavored exactly right. I will absolutely be going back. Though it is a little scary looking, it is clean, fast and friendly.
4 or so years ago I lived in WP and tried this place a few times. One of the first few times I ordered delivery I'm pretty sure it was delivered on foot. So I ignored the 2.0 hr + time. Just grabbed some carryout and I still swear they have the best goons in the city. Beef singapore noodles and dumplings are worth it too. Great job Sheng 🤙
Visited from Chicago recently (lived in KC for 15 years) and hoped this restaurant was still open and ordered for take out it was brilliant! Orange chicken yes! It was so good that I drove from the NE section of KC the next night to get my friend and I food for dinner!
Great for vegetarians! Best options I've found at a fast food Chinese restaurant for someone that doesn't eat meat. That being said - the food is not always fast. It's very inconsistent as to how long it will be to get my food. During peak food delivery times - I wouldn't bother getting food here unless you're willing to wait a while. My best recommendation is to call ahead and order for pick-up, and plan on waiting 15-20 min for your food. Your food will always be fresh this way.
I love the food, I only get delivery and it's always super hot. The portions are huge so that you can share a dinner combo or have lunch. (Mines is a late night snack ;) Favorites are Sesame Chicken and CrabRangoon!
I've been ordering from this place for the last ten years. They have been consistently good with the food but they are always on the slow side with deliveries. If you are polite to the lady on the phone, then she will be polite to you. It's basic common courtesy.
I have read many of the reviews here, good and bad. My experience was stellar!! I went on Friday night around 6 p.m. and I actually placed my order for lo mein and waited for it. Though the wait time was pretty long, it is apparent that maybe there's only one person in the back cooking the food. My food was delicious! I was very pleasantly surprised because I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Kansas City and even the old standbys have led to disappointment. I was ok with the place though the parking lot is a wreck and this restaurant which used to be an IHOP many, many years ago is very non-descript. Regardless, I was not there to stay, I just wanted to order my food and leave. It took about 20 minutes to get my order but boy was it worth it!! It was hot and delicious and I will be going back!
