Best tacos in Kc. Love this place. Have tried almost everything in the menu and never been disappointed. Try the deserts too amazing!

I've been waiting to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant in midtown for a long time. This place was like finding gold for me. I ordered the nachos with pork chili Colorado and was more than impressed. I also was fortunate enough to try my wife's carne asada and barbocoa tacos, they were both amazing. While I was at it i polished off my daughters quesadilla, which went great with all of the different salsas from the salsa bar. I will definitely be back

Love this place! Affordable, delicious and close to campus. I go here for lunch often. Carne asada tacos and the ranchero nachos are my favorites.
This place has really good tacos, their flavor is on point. Westport doesn’t really have very authentic Mexican places so I’ve always had to drive out to Northeast KC to the Mexican neighbourhoods for my taco fix. El fogon has an amazing salsa bar, I especially love that it’s home made and they have some extra hot salsa for people like me who love spicy food. The staff is always very polite and the restaurant is very clean.
I came in and tried 1 Al Pastor and 1 Chicken taco. Both were great, came served with meat and corn tortilla only. Cilantro, onion, jalapeno, radish and several home made sauces/salsas were available at a taco assembly station. Clean facility, fast and fresh. Very cool stop. A small menu surely helps keep the quality up.
Great food. More authentic style street tacos with good selection of meats. Clean, fast and friendly. Their salsas are delicious, but be warned when they say spicy they mean spicy (specifically the Salsa Verde - delicious and great heat). Grab a cold beer with some friends, a couple of inexpensive tacos, and enjoy. The burritos are plentiful, and the fajitas are fantastic. I like to get mine with the cilantro and onions for a small extra charge. Quesadillas and veggie options abound. Come to our local El Fogón

I love taco Tuesday since I get Mexican food at a great price. This place has a great selection of tacos and condiments with a great price for street tacos. We ordered chicken, steak, chorizo and Barbacoa tacos and they were all good. Total for 8 street tacos with salsa, toppings and everything we needed to eat at home was only $12.35 witch is amazing to feed two people well. The chicken was my favorite, well seasoned and none of the salsa was overly hot.
Food was good. Flavor was about spot on for authentic flavor. The burrito was very large and filling. The rice was fresh and not dried out. The side of beans was amazing. They were extremely flavorful and delicious. I will come back just for them. Downside is that the burrito is so full of goodies that you can not pick it up and eat it. The tortilla will fall apart. Next trip here I will try the tacos. Prolly in a week.
Extremly good authentic food, tacos are great, the queso is amazing and they have a wide selection of salsa! They had an order that could not be picked up once and was going to go to waste and gave it to me for free and me and my coworkers loved it!
Great food and great service! I've only had the carne asada burrito so far but I'll definitely be back. They also have a spice bar so you can flavor your food however you like and that alone is a good reason to go back for me!
