Family favorite. One of the best patios in town in my opinion and the indoor seating is great too. Tons of TVs and an quad TV array on two sides of the inside, so perfect for sports. Tuesday night music bingo was a little loud but was announced. This time around I had the Chicken Caesar wrap. I asked for no Caesar dressing, which sort of defeated the purpose, and I found it dry. I think this is because I’m used to sauce/dressing so any time I don’t use them, I think the meat is dry. Tater tots were incredibly crunchy. On previous occasions, I have had the burger and chicken tenders. They were both great! An overall 10/10 from all of my experiences so far.

Nice patio outside. Casual, chill hang-out with some decent local beers. Music-bingo trivia on Tuesday evenings. Can get loud inside with all the music & TVs. Family-friendly.

The brooksider has grown up in midtown to become a landmark meeting ground. Serving hungry Kansas City residents excellent bar food for several generations. Easy to find with plenty of free parking the Brooksider large menu offers something for everyone at reasonable prices. On fair weather days the ample patio will fill up fast around mealtimes but don't worry the indoor seating is just a comfortable and huge! I always found the staff to be attentive, helpful and pleasant if you are in the mood for some of the best bar bites put this KC sports bar on your list, you wont be disappointed.

Went here to watch champions league game staff went out of their way to get it on the big screen. Was early in the day so didn't expect a great atmosphere imagine the place is rocking when the chiefs are on.

Great sports bar with lots of tv's! Great food and apps. The bosco sticks were great! Good beer selection wish they had a few more local options. Street parking and parking lot across the street is available. Service was great and efficient.

Love the restaurant and choices on the menu. On the inside can be noisy. There is optional seating & I've noticed people who don't know waiting and not being noticed and walk out, which is not ok as they have good food at a decent price.

I was pleasantly surprised. They have standard bar food but it was SOOO fresh and hot. It didn’t taste like frozen food that was cooked. Super fresh and super hot! Would definitely come back.

Hmm. Went here for a friend's birthday. Tried to leave...<br/><br/>Getting out was easy enough until I ran into the door thugz. Turns out that a plastic cup and water is not good! After not getting the point across that it was water and plastic, I said I'd leave it on their table. Nope. They damn near accosted me and ripped the glass out of my hand... later saw the same crew climbing the street signs chanting... classy Brookside. <br/><br/>Decent place, but get decent people to work your door. I'm a human god dammit, I like water.

Monday special for May, 2011. Steak sandwich with fries or chips, $5.99. Pretty good meat and pretty good deal. Waitstaff are exasperatingly stupid so bring lots of patience with you
