Manila Bay Ihaw Ihaw is my comfort place ....its like am back home in the philippines when am here... the taste of their food is authentic filipino food!!!! My husband Larry Krull is very conservative in eating filipino food but he would really invite me to go there because he loves their sisig, adobo , pansit and lumpia. Thats very unusual for a traditional midwesterner who eats basic american dish! For my husband to go beyond his comfort zone in food, that means that the food is extraordinarily good!!!! Its something worth the 35-40 mins drive from lawrence! I advise that you call and place your order in advance as the food is cooked from scratch by Chef /owner Norma Thayer whose passion in cooking is seen in every food that you will taste there.... she pits her heart in every dish you will eat and that guarantees why i keep on coming back and crave for their food!!!!Its my Jollibee in Kansas and paparappappam.... love ko 'to( Mc Do pinoy Commercial)!!!! See thats how good the food is in this resto... you can mix two main food competitors from the philippines after eating here!!!! This is moms Joycelin Torres Krull fave place and Via Rodriguez, cant wait to have a date with you here after your graduation!!!! My rate here is 11, having 10 as the highest!!!!!

Brandon hooked it up. Brandon gave me the restaurant back story and found out we went to the same high school. He suggested I try the Chicken Adobo and wow! The food was perfect. I ordered Chicken Menudo and Chicken adobo with cilantro and it was Heaven. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The white rice was perfect. Not starchy at all and was well prepared. This is going to be my once a week spot. Thanks for the great food guys! We loved it!!!!!!
