Whether you live in KC or are just passing through, be sure to stop in at the Made in KC cafe! You'll be dazzled by a fantastic drink menu and the delectable food offerings (looking at you, ham and cheese croissant)!
We also enjoyed browsing the expansive selection of other Made in KC items - think bbq sauce with whiskey, simple syrups to mix with cocktails, shrubs (be sure to ask about these), candles, and much much more.
Last but definitely not least, the staff was well put together, friendly, and unpretentious. This cafe is definitely worth your while!
The coffee & maple pecan scone were delicious!! But I have to say the service was even better. I was so impressed with how attentive the staff were and even offered to bring water over. Such a great experience!! Will definitely be back

I got the Monet matcha latte from the favorites menu and it was very good. Not too sweet and complex. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is relaxing. They also a bar in the back but I didn’t look. Up front they even a variety of wines and spirits. For reference, 2 drinks and one danish was $20, so more on the expensive end. But definitely a place to stop by
I was looking for a nice café and I found this gem. I ordered the matcha latte and a poptart pastry. The cashier was super helpful and nice. She let me know what recommendations she had and offered vanilla syrup since the matcha typically comes unsweetened. The poptart was delicious and half priced.
I love the gluten free baked goods at the downtown location! It's uncommon for coffee shops in the downtown area to offer good gluten free options, if any at all. So nice to feel included!
This is the cutest place. Perfect spot too. Atmosphere was good. Employee's we're kind. But made no connection or conversation. I really wanted to engage having never been there before. My efforts were not met. I'd loved to have stayed and had lunch. Decided to just take my coffee and go. Not giving up though. It's way too cute, I want it on my faves list.
Cute spot with Kansas City goodies. Coffee was good and staff was nice. It was mostly empty, so plenty of space to sit and work from. Wifi connection was good as well. I took away one star because the music was incredibly loud.
Brandi and Kaitlin were the best!!!!!!!!!! Best drinks in town. Friendly service!!!!!! We will definitely visit again!!!! Suggest to anyone looking for a great drink and friendly atmosphere!!!!!
I really liked the unique atmosphere of this place, plus it was one of the only places that was open after 7 PM on a Monday night! I had a dirty chai and it was very good. We really loved how much extra space was in the back, and the taproom looked really cool too. Will definitely be back if we’re in the area again!
After reading a review saying that the barista insisted that matcha was coffee, I knew I had to visit this place. It’s cozy and adorable, I ordered a matcha latte and…I got a matcha latte. Baristas were friendly and service was quick. They also had matcha powder that wasn’t pre-sweetened, which I appreciated.
Lovely cafe'. Glad I stopped by. I had the vegan 'bacon and egg' biscuit sandwich I believe. Perhaps one of the best vegan sandwiches I have ever had. Number one or two. Should have taken a picture. Also had a hot almond milk latte.
Attached to the cafe' is a shop with MIKC merch. Hopefully I stop by again and buy some of the food or clothes items.

Smallish, but with a solid array of Made in KC souvenirs plus bottles from the local breweries and distilleries. Helpful, enthusiastic staff. And maybe also a hidden away speakeasy?
