Very dank food. Lunch special is still affordable at ~$8 for a very big portion. $2.50 beef Patty. Lemonade fresh daily. This is the best Caribbean food in this part of town for sure.

Food was great! I got the jerk chicken platter that came with cabbage, rice&peas and a corn fritter. It was the perfect portion size. The chicken was falling off the bone. Great food and very quick service. The beef Patty was also very good. My new go to restaurant for authentic Jamaican food!

Loved this hidden gem! They offer a drive thru and take out. Wanted a Caribbean vibe! The service was good and the atmosphere give a dive type of vibe. (loved) Our order consisted of Brown Stew Chicken, Fish and 2 Lemonades. The portion of the stew chicken and rice was top tier. The fish portion was sad 3 baby pieces, but flavored. The lemonade was to sweet for me but I added water (perfect).

My friends and I were in town for the weekend and we wanted some Jamaican food so we googled then this spot came up. I ordered the jerk pork dinner and was not disappointed it was delicious very flavorful and authentic. We met the owner who served us and was very accommodating and attentive which I really appreciate. The jerk pork had just the right amount of heat to it but the rice seem to have too much heat for my taste however was still good.

I love this place. The jerk wings are fire and affordable. Come in early to grab the lunch special, and the fresh patties sometimes sell out by the evening. Homemade pineapple-ginger juice is spicy and sweet.

Carribean food is no jokeeee 😋😋😋 The jerk chicken was delicious. I recommend this place to all Carribean especially the ones who want to eat a good Jamaican food at Kansas City.

Make sure you call ahead! I wanted to try this place and figured "why not" as I'm driving past 39th. I waited 40 minutes for my food and while it was delicious I wish I'd known to call ahead. I got the curried goat stew, jerk chicken, and fried plantains and everything was very delicious- even better the next day!

This was our first time here when I say this the best Caribbean restaurant I’ve been to since leaving NY one of the owners came to check on us while we waited on our food She is one of the most nicest caring people I have met the whole staff was amazing they have musicians on Friday and Saturday and they were also bomb The food and drinks was a 10 out of 10 if you are in the Belair Edgewood area of Maryland make sure you stop by you will not be disappointed we will definitely be back
