Their sushi is amazing, I’ve been ordering from here for many years now and I will say the Chinese food has changed a bit but it’s still definitely the best around. Great service, fast delivery, and fresh food. I always order spicy crab roll, rainbow roll, or beauty and the beast roll. Can’t go wrong with these choices.

We were invited by a large party to eat here last night! It was good and got a little busy around lunch time so the waited was a bit overwhelmed! I ordered 3 sushi rolls. They were pretty good, almost felt like they were the wrong constancy
and the wrong consistency. If we asked for anything, children or adults, it took a bit and had hint at reminders! It looks like a cheap hole in the wall common sushi joint..... bit, it's worth a try! The prices have increased drastically over the last couple years. Pretty good, vast menu to choose from!

PROs: Friendly atmosphere. Clean establishment. Quick customer service. Plenty of parking. Indoor seats. Many menu choices and a daily lunch special. The food is fresh, especially the rice, I've experienced dry, hard and old rice from other establishments but not here at China Hut.
CONs: Nothing that will prevent me from returning.
I visited this place a couple of times and have been pleased with the meals. The owner?/waitress is friendly and addressed many patrons by their names. This is my 'go to' Chinese meal when I visit Kansas City.

My go-to for Chinese food.
They have some of my favorite combination fried rice and lo mein in the area.
Everything else they make is good, and their service is always fast.
I've never eaten inside, but it looks like a normal Chinese restaurant.
I haven't tried their sushi either, so I can't speak for that.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for some tasty takeout.

This place was recommend to me by a couple of regulars, and I am so glad I went! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. My meal arrived shortly after I ordered. Everything tasted delicious. I am pretty picky about sushi and the Dancing Dino roll I had was so yummy!! The lunch special is a good price for lots of food. The staff recommended their ice cream after my meal and I am glad I tried it! It was delicious! I will absolutely be back!

The Chinese/Japanese mix was unexpected but it was actually really good! The sushi that I ordered was AMAZING and my family really liked the Chinese dishes too. They were able to accommodate my husband, who is celiac and needed a gluten-free option. They were also super helpful with my infant daughter! We definitely plan on eating here again!
UPDATE: Went back again, even better the second time.

This place is very small with only about 6 or 8 tables. Seems like most of their customers took food to go. Sushi was pretty good. Noodle dish was good. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be going back

This is my go-to sushi spot. Kenny is what makes this place, his Sushi is divine. If I want to try something new he always has the best recommendations. He knows what I like so whatever he puts together for me seems to always becomes my new favorite, lol. Joy is as sweet as can be. She is friendly and without trying makes your experience Unforgettable. I just love the staff they are all great and provide the best service. I have the best sushi, the best service and did I mention they also deliver 😊

Lunch was a quiet affair, hardly anyone was there. The food was delicious!! Took maybe ten minutes to come out. It was fresh tasting and hot. I got the Dinosaur and China Hut fried rolls. The service was very nice, they refilled our drinks often and the drinks were crisp (I got mountain dew instead of green tea this time, really craved a soda).
Will come again :) for a fourth time since this is our third visit.

Welcome to your new favorite hidden gem. The biggest thing to mention about this place is the lunch specials. You get a huge amount of food - two meals for me - for $7.68!! 🤯 And the food is pretty great! It might not be the best Asian food I've ever had but it's certainly not the worst and they've got all the big favorites - general Tso's, honey chicken, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, all that. And it comes with an egg roll or crab Rangoon and a soup. There's also a great sushi menu that I've not gotten around to trying yet, but the pictures look amazing. I can't believe it took me so long to find this place but I'll be going back regularly.

Delicious! Not only was the presentation fantastic, the flavors and textures of the dishes were balanced so well! We ordered Gyosa, Dinosaur Egg, Dragon & Phoenix, a California Roll, Monkey Roll, Godzilla Roll, and an Angel Roll. The Dinosaur Egg was almost a shame to eat it was so elegant. The Dragon & Phoenix was yummy also a tad milder than your typical General TSO, and was perfect for our toddler to enjoy a couple bites (she likes slightly spicy food). The California Roll had really vibrant flavors in it's simplicity, not dry at all. The Monkey and Godzilla Rolls were each delicious, but the Angel Roll was phenomenal. It was an explosion of different flavors and textures expertly crafted and so satisfying to eat! We will be back to try more food!
