The most interesting Mexican food joint yet. The crew has never been to anything like this one before, and we eat a lot of Mexican food. I noticed the olden bar, snapped a photo and asked about the building. It was the owner and what a story. Wife just cooks whatever they have on hand and that's what you choose from. Awesome people, neato place, and good food.

Where do I start !! I was super impressed by everything! I remember Los Alamos back then when I was a kid! They were a corner market that sold Mexican goods! I remember the Piñatas hanging from the ceiling and getting a variety of jaritos and chips to go!!! We had such a great experience! The owner was very friendly and took care of making our drinks to perfection my michelada was delish!! The eggs!! Omg !! Let’s get to the eggs!! I have never seen an egg cooked so perfect!! It was almost too good to be true !! Their salsas and meat were tender and just super delish!! Their tamales were really amazing too!! Pozole & menudo were to die for! Especially on a chilly day, or a hang over cure! Their coffee was so amazing I was so amazed with everything!! I will definitely go back and recommend this place to everyone!!! Bathrooms were clean, entrance was nice and clean! Service was perfect!! Outdoor chairs to sit were nice and clean!! Los Alamos is a Must try!! 10/10 !! 5 stars !!

Couldn't love this place more. Have to get the queso with spicy pork every time! This is a family owned business and it feels like one, in the best way. Like sitting in an Abuela's kitchen while your funny uncle makes tasty Palomas. Definite gem in the KC Mexican cuisine

I will start this review with my shame. Went there for the first time a few days ago and it was fabulous! I'm ashamed that I haven't been here sooner. I take pride in finding great places to eat, food, and atmosphere. This place checks all of the above. The owner makes you feel like a best friend, the service is exceptional, and the food is fabulous! Its only been a couple of days and I'm already plotting my next visit with more co-workers. Run, don't walk here.

Best authentic comida we have had since leaving California. We have been searching the KCMO area and have been largely disappointed until now. So happy to have found Los Alamos. Good food. Good people. We will be regulars.

Absolutely delicious food at more than reasonable prices ($0.99 tacos??? Incredible!!). Everything tasted great, the service was wonderful, and the location is charming. Possibly my favorite Mexican restaurant in KC!

Excellent & authentic! Posole, menudo & tamales were delicious. My new go to for Mexican food. Yet, Do not order alcoholic beverages though. The worst - I ordered a Bloody Mary & it was not even close to correct. No tomato juice, no pepper taste. It was juice with something, the worst. Also had a margarita made with squirt & was horrid. And drink prices were outrageous.

Definitely coming back!!! Chips are made fresh!!! Salsa has plenty of spices and chips are hot and fresh. From the beginning to the end the employees were so friendly. Everything tasted delicious!! Huevos rancheros didn't disappoint. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the spicy meat was tender and fresh. Rice was perfectly cooked.

Awesome food. Guisados just like my mom used to make. Service is amazing. They have fresh jugos as well. Salsas that come with the chips are always on point. You will not be disappointed.
