Best Chicken Gyro in the world. So is Regular lam gyro, cant get enough. I come here once a week and i enjoy it every time. Launch time is busy but if you can early it very quite.
The food is really fresh and delicious. I love the gyros but the big greek salad is my favorite item. I have had greek salads many other places, but this is my all time favorite. The pita is always fresh, as well. Really good and would recommend it to others.
Super delicious. I love Never on Sunday! It is, by far, my favorite place to eat in South KC. The gyros are to die for. Their fries are crunchy fried potato perfection when they're hot (they get chewy and gross when they're cold... just a warning). They have good portion sizes and their tiziki sauce leaves me craving more for days! Everyone is nice and they treat you like family. There are a couple of things that bother me about the way they prepare their food, however. They love their microwave. The spanakopita, triopita and dolmades are ok. We are regulars here and won't be changing that any time soon.
Wear blue on Mondays and you get a free dessert.
Best Value Around. The people are super nice, and the food is awesome. I just took my parents there when they visited and they loved it as well. The people who work there make you feel like you are best friends every time you walk in the door. And the price can't be beat. They always have specials that go for about $7. Way better than another Greek place up on Wornall, where they want $16 for just a salad *cough cough Tassos cough* All they need is a bit nicer atmosphere, but at least they play awesome Greek music.
Delicious.. The food here is simply delicious. The staff is hilarious and very personable. I always get the vegetarian gyro and add either traditional meat or chicken. Their sides are ok. The Greek Salad is always fresh and the dressing is really good. The app combo plate doesn't disappoint, though the hummus is a generic lemony garlic affair.
They are also carrying Gomer's breakfast since it closed. I've only had the biscuits and gravy, but it is to-die-for. I wanted to lick the take out box, the gravy is flavorful and the biscuits are soft and fluffy.
I always recommend this place to out-of-townees and townees alike. We eat here at least 2 times a month. In the 2 years we have been frequenting, I've only not been happy with the food twice.

Certainly one of the best in the area. The chicken gyro and pork soulvaki (?) were spot on and accompanied by their delicious fries. The yogurt sauce had a delightful balance with the dill and cucumber. Definitely a must-try!
Soooo yummy. Most all of the food was homemade by the owner. Everything we got was delicious and the employees were very kind and helpful. Great homemade Greek food for a great price.
I went on the eve of Thanksgiving at 12:30 pm. This place wasn't busy, but it should have been!! I got a Gyro with Fries & Salad, and Hummus. My daughter got the Gyro bowl and Spanokopita. It was all DELICIOUS!! If I could have changed anything, it would have been a little Olive Oil on top of the hummus. It had excellent flavor, but was a little dry. This small business should definitely be supported! When I am in KC again, I will definitely be back! Keep up with the great food!!
Great staff. Looked like they are doing some remodeling. Prices are reasonable. Menu (posted above the riding area) only has comb pricing. You can just order sandwich without side! We are always looking for a good gyro!. It’s out of the way for us maybe would go again if we were some close but won’t make a special trip. We need a great gyro place downtown KC.
Can't believe I haven't given this place five stars already! Been coming here for years and it never disappoints! Great food everytime and wonderful service. Fantastic gyros. Really appreciate this restaurant.
I arrived in the between meals afternoon and my server was also cooking, and apologized that my first two requests had just come out of the oven and needed time to finish final cooking. But the gyro sandwich was mouth-watering and dolmas satisfying like all great Greek food! Yummy spanakopita, too.
I’ll make regular stops here for more of this culinary excellence, I’m sure. Overall 4 ⭐️!
Excellent Greek food! One of the first Greek places we've found in the KC area that has a nice thick tzatziki sauce instead of the watered down stuff most places have. Excellent lamb in the gyros and the spanakopita is great. Very friendly staff as well! We'll absolutely be back!

What a great little hole in the wall!!! The fries are CRUNCHY and delicious! No, really, you hear an audible crunch when you bite into them... And their tzatziki is so thick! They're not "blow your mind amazing" but it's a really solid local place run by a family, so you definitely want to stop in here. They're taking Covid seriously and they're doing dine in and carry out.
Pros:
1) Relatively cheap (~$7-$10 per person)
2) They have perfected the concept of golden French fries
3) Relatively nice menu variety (sandwiches to bowls to salads)
4) Not too crowded
5) Portion size relatively good
Cons:
1) No toilet paper in bathroom
2) Meat seemed a bit less flavorful than average gyro meat
3) Gyro meat was a bit tougher than average gyro meat
4) surrounding area feels somewhat sketchy (and not a place I’d want to be in late at night)
5) Table was sticky - doesn’t seem like they are regularly cleaned

We've been coming here for years! The chicken gyro is hands down my favorite in the city (so perfectly seasoned!) and the lamb/beef gyros are also delicious. $6.99 for very generously filled gyros and fries is a great deal. We also get the falafel every time. It's crispy and flavorful!
On top of the delicious food and great prices, the staff is consistently friendly. We'll be coming here for as long as we live in Kansas City!
Wonderful food, huge portions, and cheerful quick service. Hungry athletic 17yo son and I ordered a gyro bowl, chicken gyro sandwich, and a side of falafels for dinner and had enough left for my breakfast. We arrived right at closing but they cheerfully served us anyway and the falafels must have been freshly cooked because they were particularly amazing. The place is not fancy but five stars for the atmosphere because it was so welcoming.
This was my first fresh gyro and it did not disappoint. Lamb: underrated.
The fries should be bringing in people all day. I can't believe we ate alone.
