Good place to hangout. Drink options are good and device is pretty good. Love their appetizers. It has outdoors ratings as well . Good place to hangout for watching sports as well as having drinks too!
I was very surprised at how good the food was. I ordered the California Sandwich with salmon and it was great quality. Lew's also has affordable drink specials. My only complaint would be the service. It seems the manager had a hard time finding a server for us and he ended up taking the table when it was not very busy.

Lew's is simply the best. Located in Waldo Lew's is the best neighborhood bar. Great award winning food, cocktails, and televisions. Drink specials every night and they are famous for Lew's Beer Boot--a 2 litre glass beer boot --just like the movie beerfest. Definitily worth the trip. Lew's is open 7 days a week 11am to 3am. Serving food till midnight and 2am on weekends.
Service is exceptional. Been there many times and haven't had a bad experience. Everything I have eaten there is very good. Great place to watch football too!
9/16/23: Our visit today was good except our server was unfriendly and inattentive. Sara, our favorite server there, came over and talked to us about the game for a bit, got a couple things for us, and told us our server was new. Because of Sara, and because our server acted friendlier before we left and because she is new, I left the standard 20% tip. Planning to come back, but hoping we don't get the same server, or that she is friendly, which is what I value most in a service person. Rudeness sucks, regardless of who one deals with it what the situation.
Awesome staff working Christmas Day. Good consistency. We enjoy Charlie Hooper’s too. I’ve noticed both places are more expensive than other sports bars, however, when you include drink prices.
I got the beef quesadilla. By the looks of it I thought the food would be bland. But It was good. The food total $15 with tax. The bar didn't smell bad. It was clean.
The waitresses were super cool. Very helpful & efficient. I went in to order some late night food & they were pretty busy. But the atmosphere was real chill & I’ll probably go back for drinks soon. The food was so-so tbh. Meatloaf was kind of disrespectful
Best pub and grill in Waldo! I recommend that you come on Tuesdays……the special is chicken-fried-chicken or meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans!! It’s like mom’s Sunday dinner on a Tuesday. Sooooooo good! The service is always friendly, “You just can’t lose with the booze at Lew’s.” 🍺
Mannnn,they came through,I was starving and they have late night grill favorites..I had some kinda catfish claws or something, they were awesome, piping hot and well past 1:00am ...been her long time ago when they first came on the seen and they have come into their own and they are looking good ...I use to work at this property way back when it was Michael Forbes Grill ...there's a blast from the past
I love lews. Had 3 steaks in 2 days.. loved the experience. The steak was perfect all 3 times. Will be back tonight for another!!!
My youngest daughter and I stopped in on Christmas day. This was one of the few restaurants open for dine in options. My daughter ordered the 🐈 🐟 paws and I had the steak and shrimp. She enjoyed her meal. My meal would have been great if not for the toughness of my steak. I almost choked.
Our two servers, yes you read that right, were amazing. They kept us well supplied with beverages and attention. These two ladies are why I gave Lew's 4 🌟. Thanks for being lovely and kind servers!
Always a great outing. Makes me wonder how is the (comfort) food so good. In a bar? Steak and fries are better than 3 local restaurants (no names revealed). Such a great waitstaff. No complaints about this neighborhood BAR. The prices are good. The atmosphere is good. Took daughter for first time and they loved it.
As a previous Waldo local, Lew's Grill & Bar was pretty much my preferred bar in the area. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of bars because they're too loud. Lew's, however, will happily seat you outside where conversations are pretty easy to have.
Lew's has better food than any eatery in the small town I moved to from Kansas City. I've never had a bad server at Lew's, and the food is pretty ace. The prices are entirely reasonable.
If you can handle it, get yourself a boot of beer (84Oz?) and have a good time. The area is comfortable and the locals are pretty chill. Definitely a great place to drop by for a bite and good company.
