A friend recommended Papu's, and I was concerned that this was another trendy "restaurant in a gas station" or some other utilitarian place. Papu's, however, transcended that by delivering good food, on time, at a very reasonable price.

Really surprised to only see 4 stars so I had to post a review. This is a great little neighborhood spot. They have great gyros, shawarma, and baklava. Very friendly service and if you need to get gas or buy some snacks or smokes you’re in a gas station. What’s not to like?
I do not come in for the atmosphere but to get my order to-go. This is a hidden gem inside a gas station. The Gyros are awesome, and Tim, who has worked there for a few years, is a great guy to chat with while the food cooks.
