It's been a few years since I've been here but they remodeled the place beautifully. The food was so much better than I remember and they were very accommodating of my request.
They get a lot of business from food delivery so the inside space was pretty empty. I'd recommend sitting in if you can given how nice it looks. Speedy service even through the nonstop pickup orders.
I'll certainly be back now. I did wish they removed the tails from the shrimp. Perhaps they do but I obviously wouldn't send food back over something that trivial.

Thai House has the best Pho the beef noodle soup is simply amazing. The broth is s full of flavor, I could literally drink this broth. The beef was pretty good as well only few of the larger pieces were a little tough. The Been sprouts and green peppers are fresh, the basil taste leaf also fresh. To top off the flavor fresh lime. There was also sautéed garlic and of course noodles. The Spring rolls were god but a little greasy this time, they may have been in need of a deep fryer grease change. Other than that I simply love the soup and will order again.
P.S. I'm not a person who can handle spice so I went mild and its perfect

Went between lunch and dinner. My pad Thai arrived to my table very quickly and was some of the best pad Thai I've ever had. Plenty of food. I could have shared it.

I visited for the first time recently and enjoyed my visit immensely. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and my family and I really enjoyed ourselves in the amazing atmosphere.

Don't let the outside area fool you. Thai House has an elegant interior, sharp looking bar, and a menu to match. You could easily impress a date or celebrate an important event here. It's a gem! Very polite and helpful staff. On it but unobtrusive.
Then the food...we started with the appetizer sampler. Loved the presentation and 3 sauces. I liked the flavor but not texture of one app and our primary server told us next time we could substitute for it. And we will be back.
Entrees were fresh, beautiful, and tasty. I tried a new dish and my husband of course had cashew chicken. Said it was the best he's had. It was the sauce and chicken that did it.
We can't wait to return and try something else on their menu!

I had great experience with my pickup order! I ordered online and was quoted 15-20 minutes. Food was hot and done very timely. The portions were very generous and the perfect level of heat as well!
We got yellow curry and the appetizer sampler. Every item was amazing!

This was my first time trying Thai food! I was honestly hesitant since this restaurant wasn’t in the best part of town, but it exceeded my expectations. The waitress checked up on us constantly and was there when we needed her. I ended up getting the pho beef soup. It came in a larger bowl than expected, and I enjoyed how light but filling the food was when I ate it. The soup was both savory and aromatic. I wanted to order their mango cheesecake which was on the menu, but I was disappointed when they said they were out at the moment. Some of the other guests were loud when we were there, so that was probably one of the few negatives about the whole experience.

The Pho and spring rolls with shrimp were just fabulous! They looked so great that we just dug in and it was a while before I came up for air and realized I forgot to take a photo. Our service was terrific. The bowls are huge as are the appetizers. You won't leave hungry.

Food is really good. The fried rice and spring rolls with the peanut sauce are my favorite. The atmosphere was quiet which I enjoyed, it’s a large restaurant but it’s not always busy during the week day.

So, I really had high hopes for this place since it's close to my new work location and an average rating of 4+ stars. Ordered and paid online for carry out (super easy). Picked up at scheduled time and it was ready for me.
Ordered The Spicy Thai Sausage and it was pretty good, no sauce like other places I've eaten and a weird after taste. I'm not going to rate this part low because I "get" different restaurants have their own interpretation of the dish.
The main entree was not good. Seafood Yellow Curry, an assortment of seafood in a creamy yellow curry sauce. Nothing creamy about the sauce, just watery. The seafood was chewy and bland and the vegetables were limp and mushy.
Maybe they had an off day; however, after spending $24, I'm not inclined to try again or recommend. This was an epic fail on the entree.

I have to be honest...I’ve never been inside this place and I’ve only eaten one thing. My husband gets me Massaman Curry with Shrimp as a Friday night payday treat. He brings it to me when I’ve had a bad day. He gets it for me on celebration days. It is absolutely my favorite food in the world. Pure comfort in a takeout container! Delicious! Occasionally (only rarely) the potatoes have been underdone. But the shrimp is ALWAYS perfect. And one order lasts for days! Thank you so much!

At first I was excited because I could eat vegan. I order yellow curry with veggies, which includes coconut milk. as a person who makes this dish often, I can guarantee there was no coconut milk. Simply yellow curry paste mixed with water.
Not that I eat it, but if you are serving crab Rangoon, and have to state there is NO crab meat in the menu under the item, perhaps change the name to Cream cheese wantons. You can't go cheap by skipping ingredients and think no one will notice.

The Pad Thai is good, but I wouldn’t go there for the yellow curry, though. It’s watery and the meat and veggies weren’t very good quality for the price you pay.

Authentic and delish. The service was a little shaky, But we did come in a bit later almost at close. Every dish was made perfectly and tasted Amazing. I wish the grapow had a fried egg like I'm used to but still overall I was pleasantly surprised. I'll def be back.

Thai House is so good! Really. We have Thai friends and this is the place in KC. Probably the best fried rice and 'Asian style' wings you've ever had. Dine in or take out.

Sadly had to change previous review. This was a favorite place for my family to gather and take the young ones to experience new foods. But not anymore. We went in for lunch this week and was greeted by a very uniattentive waitress. Took forever for just drinks. And before asking what we would like for appetizers, her question was how we were paying!!! Like we were poor or not frequent customers. Appalled, we however graciously paid for our drinks (which they did not comp for the rude server after speaking with what was supposed to be management ) and went to the Taj Mahal. Where we were welcomed to eat immediately. Hope others have a better experience. We will not be back at the holmes location.
