Kitty's Cafe - Kansas City - Photo album

My college roommate and I have lunch every Friday at a different KC restaurant. Kitty's Cafe has been on our list to try for several months, but since there was no indoor seating we've been waiting for the temperatures to drop. So today we went and it was a great experience. And I don't give many 5-
A cash only establishment that delivers amazing food! $20 will get you an amazing sandwich, a BLT and some fries!
Excellent food and prices. You have to get the tenderloin it was amazing! My husband had a burger and he really enjoyed it. Very small, no area to sit but if you want to wait outside it's well worth it.
BRING CASH!!!! The place has so much character! The Layout is simple and small with only an area to order your food and enough wait space for 6 people (comfortably). The inside has a bunch of fun statues and models and dude working at the place was chill. The food was pretty good especially the Pork
Finally visited Kitty’s and I must say, I was impressed and I will be back. The prices were very affordable which is a plus during a time when everyone seems to be overpricing things including food. I ordered the breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Beware, it comes with Mayonnaise, lettuce
Cash only. Small area inside, standing room for six or so people to wait. Allow 10 minutes for the tenderloin sandwich. Outdoor covered area on the side has an overhead fan and had a nice breeze. Sandwich was crispy, coke ice cold. I visited after seeing it on a recent NY Times list, as did another
Got a couple of the catfish fillet sandwiches and they are absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. When we visit from Wichita this is the spot!
The husband got the tenderloin, and I got the double cheeseburger. We shared the awesome crispy crinkle-cut fies. My double cheeseburger is in the top 3 I've ever eaten ! My husband had me try his tenderloin. Next time, I'm going to try the tenderloin ! Both sandwiches were prepared exactly as we as
Have been going to Kitty's for years. Best tenderloin sandwich I have ever had. It is different from any tenderloin sandwich I have ever had. Everything on the menu is great. It is an old building you go in and order and ten minutes or so it is ready. A must place to eat.
Did not disappoint! First time visiting Kitty's Café. Pork tenderloin sandwich is fire! Three tenderloins fried just right with fresh made batter! Loved the sauce (spicy)! Can't wait to try the catfish sandwich! The tater tots tasted so buttery, but not greasy. Can't go wrong with them!
Simply the best pork tenderloin sandwich in America. In a class by itself. Light Tempura batter, and flavor that makes it impossible toi find anywhere else. Wonderful family owned business. The building stands aside to allow for the great food to shine!
Best tenderloin I have had in my entire life! Carryout. Aust eat in KCMO! Tater tots are extra crunchy the way they should be. I could brag all day!
I ordered the fish tenderloin and I was very disappointed. There was not much of a fish flavor nor did I know what kind of fish was being used. I think just making a fish sandwich with fish fillets may be an option. Since it was first time ordering the sandwich I should have asked about what ty
It was my first time trying this place( I'm ashamed to say seeing 👀 that I've lived in KCK my whole life) I remember seeing this place on KCTV 19 several years ago but didn't remember it's name or location..so I finally visited it when my 2 grandchildren came to visit at Thanksgiving and my grandson
Fun little hole in the wall. I tried it because it showed up in the NY Times restaurant list and it was a local place. The pork tenderloin was excellent, but different from the standard pork tenderloin, it was battered instead of breaded. They also had a chicken tenderloin and a catfish(?) tenderloi
I wished I were hungrier during my visit. I love burgers and wanted to try theirs but only had room for the pork tenderloin. The batter is light and flavorful. I wished the tenderloin would’ve been thicker. The sandwich is very competitively priced so I wouldn’t mind paying more for thicker tenderlo
I have now experienced a hamburger made the way hamburgers use to be made. This hamburger took me back to the older Mom and Pops hamburger joints. If you have never been to Kitty's and you are looking for an old fashioned burger and more this is the place to visit. Don't be in a hurry to get in and
What a lovely micro-establishment. The food is simple but delicious. The cheeseburger and fry are my favorites. I was going daily for lunch! The 🍟 are only $2.50 but the bag runneth over. The 🍔 is only $3.75 and surprisingly juicy! Both of the employees running the register are cordial, professiona
