My college roommate and I have lunch every Friday at a different KC restaurant. Kitty's Cafe has been on our list to try for several months, but since there was no indoor seating we've been waiting for the temperatures to drop. So today we went and it was a great experience. And I don't give many 5-star ratings.
My friend and I split a tenderloin and a double cheeseburger. I love the way they stack the tenderloin pieces rather than serving a tenderloin that's four times the size of the bun. The hot sauce is a great addition. The double cheeseburger was delicious. Good fries. Unfortunately, they were out of tots today. The outdoor seating was simple - a patio covered by a portable carport - but enjoyable.
A cash only establishment that delivers amazing food! $20 will get you an amazing sandwich, a BLT and some fries!

My husband had a burger and he really enjoyed it.
Very small, no area to sit but if you want to wait outside it's well worth it.

The place has so much character! The Layout is simple and small with only an area to order your food and enough wait space for 6 people (comfortably). The inside has a bunch of fun statues and models and dude working at the place was chill. The food was pretty good especially the Pork tenderloin sandwich. Even driving back and waiting a few to eat it the sandwich’s pork patty was still CRISPY! The sauce had a nice spicy kick and the pickles gave it a nice tang. Magic! I would love to come back to have it again.
Finally visited Kitty’s and I must say, I was impressed and I will be back. The prices were very affordable which is a plus during a time when everyone seems to be overpricing things including food.
I ordered the breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Beware, it comes with Mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I had it all removed and added bacon.

Outdoor covered area on the side has an overhead fan and had a nice breeze. Sandwich was crispy, coke ice cold.
I visited after seeing it on a recent NY Times list, as did another person I met there. Kitty’s was out of pork tenderloin at 2:30. Expect this will be a common occurrence with traffic from the article exposure.
Got a couple of the catfish fillet sandwiches and they are absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. When we visit from Wichita this is the spot!
The husband got the tenderloin, and I got the double cheeseburger. We shared the awesome crispy crinkle-cut fies. My double cheeseburger is in the top 3 I've ever eaten ! My husband had me try his tenderloin. Next time, I'm going to try the tenderloin ! Both sandwiches were prepared exactly as we asked. We will definitely be coming back soon !
Have been going to Kitty's for years. Best tenderloin sandwich I have ever had. It is different from any tenderloin sandwich I have ever had. Everything on the menu is great. It is an old building you go in and order and ten minutes or so it is ready. A must place to eat.
Did not disappoint! First time visiting Kitty's Café. Pork tenderloin sandwich is fire! Three tenderloins fried just right with fresh made batter! Loved the sauce (spicy)! Can't wait to try the catfish sandwich!
The tater tots tasted so buttery, but not greasy. Can't go wrong with them!
