The workers were so genuine and nice, i wish they would adopt me. The slap seasoning was so good, I hope I'm buried with a jar. The fam and I stopped in after a marathon session at Worlds of Fun (just 13 min away). I briefly shared my credentials of a wing enthusiast, and chatted about some of their sauces and wide menu selection. We settled on Slap(dry rub), Texas cowboy(smokey southwest sauce), Buffalo, and Parmesan Ranch. The Buffalo and Parmesan were very, very good. The Texas Cowboy was even better. The Slap dry rub transcends food though. As I type this, I'm trying to think what food item wouldn't be better with Slap seasoning. Chicken, fish, beef, mayo, fries, I'd even try it on corn flakes if it meant getting to have some more slap. The food was all cooked on point, wings crispy and juicy, mac and cheese tasted like it came straight from grand ma's oven, and the Caesar side salad had a big thumbs up from my teenage son. After reading some of the reviews, I feel I may have made a crucial mistake not trying the sweet potato fries. Is it really possible I could have left the place more happy? The price was quite reasonable. I sort of uncorked on the menu, and still spent less than $15 a person. The next time you eat out, gather up anyone you care about and take them here. Thank you Wing's cafe, and Slap, I love ya.

Best wing place in all of KC. The owners are great people, too. The owner happened to be in one day and gave my wife and I a free serving of their sweet potato fries. I think the honey BBQ sauce is the best I've ever had. The price is reasonable and service is always great. My wife and I are also huge fans of the slap dry seasoning. The fries are always hot and crispy. The okra is also always a hit. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.

Best wings in KC! They have so many wet sauces and dry rubs to chose from. My personal favorite wet sauces are the Shanghai Bourbon and Golden BBQ, and then Cajun and Garlic Parmesan dry rubs. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their homemade flavors. We’ve never had an issue with their customer service, the owner and workers are polite, food is hot, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I enjoyed the holiday decorations. We take-out often, and dine-in occasionally. My family tried the fish for the first time tonight and it was crispy, seasoned well, and their homemade cajun tartar sauce was the perfect touch. Try the drizzled sweet potato fries for dessert.

I love everything here. Great job. Great food. Great seasoning. I think they should do their own delivery. The last deliver I got from Door Dash, my fries were gone, and the food was cold. I didn't blame them, I was just glad I got it. I'm drive to the restaurant and pick up my food now. It's still good.

It's a bit pricey but worth it. That butterly flavor infused in their Buffalo sauce was amazing. The again Burton wings were tasty, too. Mac n cheese was creamy and flavorful but overpriced for that tiny amount. Okra was awesome. Fried to perfection, and the portion was huge. We'll visit again when we're in town.

The best kept Wing secret in KC. This location is so clean with the friendliest staff. My food is always fresh and never disappoints! Try the lemon pepper wings or the hot Buffalo, as you can… I couldn’t decide! The corn nuggets are delicious and perfect if you enjoy a sweet and salty combination like me!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wings Cafe and felt compelled to share my positive experience. The staff at Wings Cafe was not only attentive but also quick to address my wife's food allergy concerns, which made us feel well taken care of. One notable aspect was the promptness with which our food was served. Despite the lack of crowds, our meals arrived swiftly, allowing us to savor our dining experience without unnecessary delays. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday night, and it was a perfect time to watch the draft and chow down. This review is not influenced by any form of compensation. I simply wanted to express my appreciation for the exceptional experience we had at Wings Cafe. Now, let's talk about the highlight of our visit--the food. The flavors were simply outstanding, leaving a lasting impression. I ordered 12 wings, 6 firecracker, 6 standard buffalo. I also tried six boneless wings with the Shanghai Bourbon sauce. I really enjoyed it, not spicy, and had an Asian kick! Really nice to try something new. Although it's worth noting that the prices seemed a bit on the higher side, the quality of both the food and service undoubtedly justified the cost. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the overall experience at Wings Cafe is certainly worth considering. While the prices at Wings Cafe may lean towards the higher side, the quality of both the food and service unquestionably justifies the cost. Keep up the good work, we'll be back!

Visited 27 March 2021 I visited Wings Café based on Yelp and Google reviews and I am not disappointed. When I arrived I was greeted by an employee behind the register. He was busy doing something but let me know he'd be right with me. I was not in a rush to order since I was still reading the menu (the menu is posted on large chalk boards high behind the counter). I am a bit tall (5'11"), a tad bit blind, and I found that a bit hard to read so I took pictures and viewed the menu that way. I did not notice if there were actual paper menus available. By the time I was ready, the male employee had gone back into what I assume is the kitchen and a female employee was now out front prepared to take my order. I confirmed with her that I would be able to split my 18-piece, Wings only order into both dry rub and wet sauce and she verified yes. So that's what I ordered - 18 pieces, Wings only, and a soft of fried Okra. I love spicy so I had kickin chicken and cajun (both dry rub) and cajun Buffalo (wet rub). Expectedly, it took a few minutes for my them to prepare my order. While I was waiting, I observed the indoor seating - spacious. No one was dining at the time. It was still early in the day; I think they had recently opened too. I also walked around outside and checked out the outside seating area. I liked the outside seating. The ground is lined with faux grass and plants create a barrier from the sidewalk. It gives it a real outdoor, summery vibe. I was expecting to have to go back inside to retrieve my order but the female employee who took my order walked it out to me. It smelled heavenly! Score! When I got to the car I peeped inside the bag and noticed these huge pieces of wings. Score! When I got back and opened it up, I noticed a large amount of hot, fresh crispy Okra. Score again!! All that was left is for the actual taste...Whoa!! Ahhhmazing! If you read my review from a few days ago you'd know I did not have a good "wings" experience, at all!! This, on the other had, is drastically better. Highly recommend!!

I was craving wings and had been disappointed in the past but not this time. I tried Wing Cafe and I can't wait to get another order. My personal criteria for good wings are that they're a decent size, have great flavor and are still juicy. This place got nearly all of them perfectly. I ordered the 18 bone-in chicken wings that came to about $25. I skipped the $1.25 online ordering free and just went to the shop. It's in a stripmall next to a Christian science reading room and a local bar. It's a very casual place with paper towel rolls on the tables and a stand with water and utensils. Looking at the menu in-store they offer a lot of things you don't find on their online menu including lunch specials and a limited chicken and waffles going on right now. For my first time I got the spicy dry, buffalo wet and the slap yo mama based on these reviews. When I got home with my order I was very happy. All of the wings were a good size, some of the drummettes were the size of drumsticks I've gotten at other places. They keep the tips on the wings which I like because half the joy of wings is the tasty skin and sauce. The dry spicy was actually spicy and I like the heat. It hits you right away then disappates. The slap yo mama tasted very Cajun with a decent spice but not overly hot. The wet buffalo was good. Not overly vinegary like many places and not that wet. Sloppy wings are not a good look. They could've been a hotter for me. Service was quick and it took about to 10-15 minutes to get my order. Staff were quick and efficient. Not necessarily friendly but it's not a 5* dining experience.

Best wings I’ve ever eaten! I highly recommend!!! Try the dry rub slap, if you like a little spice, you won’t be disappointed! Very casual relaxing atmosphere.

So many flavors and a huge amount of delicious food for a great price. The wings were amazing so was the fish & shrimp. We will definitely be back.

Not much of an atmosphere. Nice menu variety and they give you plenty. Cocktail sauce they gave me was frozen both times. Don't know why they give you tartar sauce in single serve packages though. Bleu cheese dressing is lacking any punch. Server staff was very nice. Need to clean bird poop off outdoor settings.
