Fantastic. Felt like a book club meeting would take place here but I enjoyed the cleanliness, the ambience, local photography, and soft music. Water served in mason jars...cool. Neat little coffee creamer cup. The food tasted so natural and clean. Parisi coffee. We had the country scramble and country hash.

First visit to 'Classic Cookie' and what a treat !! To start, i want to give Jennifer kudos for being such a great waitress, having a personality and always keeping our coffee hot and filled. Ordered the 'Cinnamon roll french toast' and darn if i did not forget to take a pic before scarfing down these delicious four pieces. You will just have to take my word for it that it was by far the best french toast i've ever had. The 'Old town' atmosphere of this business makes for very nice comfortable dining. And yes, per the two pics of the cookies, they are as tasty as they look. My favorite is the oatmeal raisin chip, but all six (variety) tasted awesome. Highly recommend and for sure on the top three breakfast spots on my list.

Neat little hole in the wall. The breakfast potatoes were excellent, and omelette with cheddar and salmon was perfect. Way to full to try any baked goods. (Although, they also looked scrumptious.) However, the menu is lacking. You will easily spend upwards to $20 per person to have any sort of "specialty" omelette. I will most certainly come back again though. Simply delicious.

This place is a solid hidden gem in Kansas City and I absolutely LOVED the food! They even bring out a little plate with their baked items to try and I’m not gonna lie you sold us on them so it’s working 😂🤟. Great Eggs Benedict, a true Hollandaise Sauce with that taste of lemon. B&Gs is great too. Staff is really focused at pleasing the customers. You will get your money's worth.

Nice little cozy cafe at Gregory and Wornall roads. It’s next to Louie’s Wine Dive. Tip: they sell more than cookies and have a full menu! Food was good and the cookies were great. They even give you a free cookie on your birthday! And if you order more than $5, they give you a small basket of free baked goods.

Breakfast food is top notch! Atmosphere is awesome too! Cookies are definitely average. Maybe change the company name to just “The Classic Cafe”??

So awesome!!! So delicious, damn i m in a heaven) really guys, great place for breakfast lunch and brunch, but you must hurry up to get a seat, cuz it is closed at 2 p.m! Small cute cafe ) P.s The food was very tasty, which managed to take a photo of only a plate that was empty in minutes)

Cute little neighborhood cafe. We went for breakfast and ordered the pancakes with a side of over easy eggs, and the crepes with over medium eggs. My eggs came out over easy, and the server quickly brought me out the correctly cooked eggs. The crepes stuffed with mushrooms and onions were absolutely fantastic. The pancakes were delicious as well. Would come back here again. All of the staff was very attentive and kind.

Adorable! It's a fresh take on the classic breakfast & lunch spot in Waldo! Freshly made bread and generous portions. Tomato soup was sinful and the carrot cake cupcake was delicious. Service was excellent and everyone makes you feel right at home.

Wow what a find! Great breakfast/lunch and nice atmosphere. Loved the photos on the walls and they had a sort of famous baker there selling his macaroons. He was on TV and they were pretty good. Overall I was impressed and we will be back for more! (Parking is limited in this area but you can park in the streets around it and it's a very short walk)

Cute cafe that was completely remodeled and revamped in December 2021. All of the serving staff was very nice. There is limited seating both in and outside because the cafe is small, but my party of four only had to wait about 10 minutes when we went for brunch on a Sunday. The savory crepe and eggs were divine and the OG breakfast sandwich disappeared from the plate in a flash!

My husband and I had brunch at The Classic Cookie yesterday and loved it so much we tested out the delivery option this morning! Yum!
We tried the French toast, biscuits and gravy, Belgian waffle, and the crab cake eggs Benedict. Everything was phenomenal- the food, the service, the updated interior, and the great location.
I will definitely be visiting The Classic Cookie lots in the future! Thank you for updating a local favorite.

Yay!! Thanks for reopening the Classic Cookie! You gave this neighborhood spot new life. The remodel looks amazing - the space is bright, cozy and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good; toast and breakfast potatoes, great. Did not try the cookies or carrot cake cupcake, but they look delicious. Love that you can also come in just for a coffee. As a longtime Classic Cookie fan, so happy to see this place reopened with a fresh perspective. Hope to be back soon.

Loving the new ownership! We have been nothing but impressed with the food and experience here since they re-opened. We’ve only had takeout, but the food has been perfectly prepared and packed and is always delicious.
Big fans of everything so far… pumpkin muffin, the hash browns, love the yogurt parfait, soups, Brussel salad, bacon is always crispy. Give it a shot for breakfast or lunch.

Sweet little breakfast/lunch place. We went thinking we'd get their famous "basket of cookies" with breakfast. But they only do that at lunch. :( The food was good, if a bit smaller in quantity than I had expected. They have healthy options, but my Green Eggs and Ham (eggs, ham, cheese, spinach on an English Muffin) sounded healthier than it ended up being (butter galore), but was yummy. Service was very good and food came out hot and quickly. Will go back.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Coffee is especially good and not bitter or over warmed. Fab potatoes and pancakes. One of the very best Eggs Benedict and I speak as one who has tried them every place in town and out of town. The hollandaise was very nice and not cloying. We always find out way back to The Classic Cookie!

It's really changed... the food is greasy, the bacon is chewy, and the healthy choices are poor. If you want cookies from shipped in batter that you could make yourself, these are good enough. The eggs are not free-range. The coffee is the worst - way too weak. It's just gone downhill in the past 4-5 years, sadly.

Charming little cafe/bakery. I had the BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO ever!!! Yum yum did I forget to mention those fabulous "special" pancakes don't even need syrup. Oh yeah and they have my favorite cookie that is hard to perfect the Scottie and it was well worth the wait. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!
