Hands down some of the best pastries I have ever had. Moist, delicious, flavorful, not overly sweet. Delectable. Came in from Maryland, made sure to get some mini cupcakes and pastries to go for the drive back. Will be back next time we are in town and highly recommend to friends, family, and anyone in the area.
I had an awesome lunch here, the chorizo sweet potato quinoa bowl was perfectly cooked with a runny egg on top. I loved all the fresh veggies mixed with the chorizo, and made for a very filling meal. The Mac and cheese with chicken and pesto was delicious as well.
For pastries, we tried their mini pumpkin cheesecake which was off the charts delicious, and the caramel pecan cheesecake, again amazing. The chocolate muffin with espresso whipped cream was very yummy as well and not too sweet. Definitely big enough to share and perfect with tea or coffee. I didn’t try their coffee but they had an extensive drink menu. Their pies looked amazing and they had a large variety like apple, berry, pecan, German chocolate. The service was very friendly and they made us feel very welcome.
Having our first granddaughter and found this place.... sent over what I wanted and they made it all so easy.... it came out 100% the way I asked.... she wanted a Grinch theme baby shower and that's what she got!! I will definitely come again with my next needs!!! Thank you all so much! (They told me they wouldn't do the Christmas balls and I was fine with that, hot glue gun later all pretty!!!)
Hiring McLain's Bakery for our wedding cake (and sheet cakes) was an incredible experience. We went in for a cake tasting where they took the time to explain all of our options, as well as work with us on a plan for number of guests and amount of dessert needed to accommodate. Their cake was amazing! We ordered almond cake with raspberry filling, which was so delicious and can't wait to order through them again for special occasions!
My husband and I got a small cake for our birthdays since they are close together. We did the chocolate ganache with almond cake and strawberry fruit filling. It was an amazing cake and the price point was actually a bit lower than we anticipated. We will definitely be coming back!
Quality ingredients and service. I eat lunch on the go a lot, they’re quick and efficient. Sometimes to go food is sub par but they do a stellar job. Everything is DELICIOUS. Thank you McClains! Eat local! Drink LOCAL!
I just love McLain’s Bakery. It has your “normal” bakery items like croissants, muffins, donuts but it also has great breakfast options. It also opens early which is great when you have kids.
It ain't the first time I've eaten here and it won't be the last. I love it. That's all I can say. Quick bite, good food, awesome place, wonderful service. Go try it.

Highly recommend McLain's Bakery for your wedding cake. From the start they have been great. We went in for cake tasting and they explained all our options as well as giving us enough time to decide what we wanted. We ordered a 6 in cake just for my husband and I. We did a lemon cake with buttercream frosting and it was DELICIOUS. McLain's staff definitely went above and beyond.
