The food was delicious with lots of variety. We started with the dates and I had the short ribs (must try). The cheesy corn is delicious! The whiskey menu is extensive and the cocktails are fun and inventive. Dessert was also well represented: doughnut bread pudding topped with butter pecan ice cream. I was shocked the restaurant was not more busy. They have several local and domestic breweries on tap.

Went here for lunch/brunch. Food was delicious! Server was great and very helpful with me making a selection. There were so many good ones to choose from. Staff very personable. Very nice. Atmosphere was cool. Great music playing. Can't wait to go back.

Good food, friendly service in the middle of Country Club Plaza.. A local produce, and a great selection of craft beers. Had a great McKRib sandwich and a Jalapeno rubbed rib eye steak, one of the best I have had for a long time.

Great experience with exquisite food without being pretentious. These guys pay attention to every detail of the food. Nashville Hit Chicken, Jalapeno rubber ribye, amazing fries and sides.

My God what a way to end a food trip one of the best places to get food and drink. The ambiance of luxury and the staff to back it..The staff is amazing !! Service amazing !! The food just look at it.. amazing! Bloody Mary with a richness that they serve a side beer as a chaser.. decor: with pork belly and olives, pickles .. the shrimp and grits, large size portion with a very fresh shrimp deveined and enough sauce with kick to make you sweat. The corn beef hash served with egg over easy.. garnished with scallions was amazing so much flavor and portions well more than what I can eat ... Note: ask for the spicy sauce and don't be afraid to let it drip over the hash... Again thanks to the staff at hogshead for your prompt service and excellent fresh made food ...!! If you ever drop by in Kansas City hogshead get some !!

Delicious Burger( Maybe best in town). Parking can be challenging. Prices are high, but great quality. Tasty Pickles (I hate pickles). Friendly Staff. Cozy Atmosphere (Booths are a tight fit). Overall a Must Visit!
