Happy hour, birthday, romantic dinner! Whatever the occasion McCormick is the spot. The ambience is wonderful. The food is killer, and let's not talk about the drinks! Will was my bar tender, not only was his customer service amazing. My tequila sunrise was to *to die for*, truly the best I've EVER had. You can see the passion for his craft! 10/10 highly recommend.

My NY strip steak was cooked perfectly and my wife loved the lobster and crab stuffed salmon. Our server was pleasant and professional. Beautiful decor and great location.

The ambience to this place is lovely. The tall glass dome was very beautiful. The service here is top notch and the waiters are very kind. They have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks which are very good. We got the Apple of My Eye which tasted like Fall if it could be a drink! Overall, the whole meal was delicious.

Food was good, service not so much. The crab cakes and fried oyster appetizers were great and the steak was phenomenal! The dessert was just okay, nothing spectacular. Would come back.

When traveling to KC this is always a fav! I was a little sad that our crab cakes were forgotten but our drinks were really good so that makes up for it.
The blackened mahi mahi was great, I wish it was a little more seasoned but the fish itself melted in my mouth.

Another amazing seafood and steak restaurant in town. I’ve tried this place a few times and each time I had an amazing experience. Great selections of drinks, appetizers and desserts. They have a special 3 meal dinner on Sundays and Mondays. The happy hours are great because they have great selections of signature cocktails. The chocolate bag desert is famous in town. The desert is a white chocolate mouse and fresh berries.

My husband and I ate here for a date night. Everything was spectacular. We made reservations as it was a weekend night. We were seated promptly and the server was very attentive. She made great recommendations on the menu items. We had the crab dip appetizer, which was quite tasty. The server brought us extra bread, which was necessary to finish off the dip. I ordered the swordfish and I’m still dreaming about it. Everything, even the bed of spinach the swordfish was plated, was delicious. My husband ordered the filet and thought it was great. We ordered sides of lobster mashed potatoes and truffle Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was incredible, but rich. Was lovely reheated too. The lobster mashed potatoes were just okay. Not sure I’d order those again. Overall great experience and looking forward to our next visit

Amazing service by our server, the food was great, the cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was great. The downfalls were we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation time with no apology or explanation and the mac n'cheese was watery and bland. I'd definitely return based on the rest of the food. The rib eye entree and shrimp appetizer was so good!

Lisa was an absolute gem. From menu suggestions to her overall demeanor, our dining experience was wonderful. The food is very well prepared and so delicious!! Pleasant atmosphere and not terribly busy for a Saturday night. Thank you, Lisa, for ensuring our “just because” dinner received the highest quality service. We will definitely be back for happy out and those fish tacos you mentioned.

The food was delicious. The service was timely, smooth and efficient. A great place to start or end your visit to the plaza. My fish and chips were as good as any I’ve every had and far better than most. But my wife’s stuffed salmon was amazing.

My husband and I had an amazing steak dinner here, celebrating Valentine’s Day! 😍 our server Shawn did a great job at getting us everything we needed. The shrimp kisses for an appetizer were truly amazing!!! 😋🤤

Enjoyed the options on their "Restaurant Week" menu to celebrate my friend's birthday, and both of ours first time dining here. Our waiter, Rey, was very friendly and professional, and the GM whom stopped by was very welcoming as well. I know for us that we can't hardly wait to visit again.

We enjoyed our evening celebrating my 60th and our friend’s 44th birthday. We tried some different appetizers and enjoyed the shrimp. The crab and mango appetizer was definitely different. We enjoyed the steak and lobster entree. The chocolate box was amazing. The Striaght Up Paloma drink was delicious. Wine and beer were also enjoyed at our table. Our in disappointment was our wait staff. She was handling another large table beside us. We had to ask for water from another server as she ran out of water as she was filling our glasses. She didn’t realize she had not brought back any water. We ask about a few items on the menu of which she was unsure of. She said she would get back to us concerning our questions. She never returned with the answers. She was pleasant , personable, but the large table seemed to take the majority of her time. The other table may have been very demanding which isn’t our style. She seemed to be overwhelmed. We were a bit disappointed, but we enjoyed our evening.

I rarely eat at steakhouses. I am a simple guy who enjoys simple food. I would rather spend money on an adventure. Having said that, I do treat myself when the right opportunity arises. McCormick and Schmitt’s was a TREAT! The crab stuffed mushrooms were savory. The ribeye was cooked to my request. The asparagus was just asparagus. The red pepper white cheddar mash, though...epic. And the Chocolate Bag? Where to begin? Ok. Here. It was a monument I couldn’t wait to wreck.
The decor was elegant yet not pretentious. I felt comfortable. The booths forced good posture. (Wasn’t too keen on that.)
So why 4 and not 5 stars? The preliminary loaf of fresh bread was just bread. Some just really love bread. So maybe I am just not with that. Also, my friend ordered coffee before dessert. The Chocolate Bag came and we finished it before the coffee arrived.
I’ve been a server in many places. It’s a tough job. Our server was very busy. She did excellent otherwise.

We have eaten there three times now and each time everything was perfect. This evening Makayla was our server and her performance was flawless and her timing perfect. The food there is awesome too! We love the ambiance as well. Highly recommend!
