Extra Virgin - Kansas City - Photo album

Everything ordered came out beautifully plated and absolutely tasty. The cucumber salad was really interesting with the tiny bit of cumin in it. Pork belly was mouthwatering. Ricotta toast was salty - but I really liked that! Chickpea fries were unexpectedly good - creamy on the inside and crispy on
We got put in a cute room all to ourself which was cool but if we needed something we felt like we had to go find our server who was so kind! We felt the cucumber salad was VERY peppery along with the octopus. We really enjoyed the kabobs and falafels. We had a wine the was not what we expected at a
So enjoyed our dinner here! Tapas that each dish was better and better! East Coast oysters, West Coast oysters, Shrimp ceviche, Sauteed mushrooms, grilled bread and ricotta, lamb kebab, Roasted Branzino! Then finished with Churros & Spiced Chocolate Sauce, chef's kiss!
First time staying in the Arts District and stumbled into the restaurant and it was wonderful. Enjoyed the Fattoush salad, grilled bone marrow and a great slice of coconut cake. Was traveling alone and sat at the bar and enjoyed the great service
Lovely atmosphere, great service and good food! The mock-tail was really tasty and steamed mussels were fresh! The highlight was roasted bronzino. Braised pork belly was bland and Lebanese hummus was ordinary. Overall it was a nice experience but the price is pretty high for portion.
A super cute location with Mediterranean inspired tapas/ small plates. Was great to share with some friends. Not pictured, but we also bought the chicken mouse, falafel, potatoes and mezzo spread. Everything was super delicious!! Get there before 6pm for discounted plates and drinks during happy ho
Conveniently located downtown. Great place to dine. Lots of small plate options to select from. Chickpeas fries are one of my favorites and are amazing. It's highly recommended and you must try it if you visit. They have a few vegetarian options as well. Good selection of drinks.
Great food! highly recommend baby octopus, mussels, and lamb ribs. unfortunately they no longer serve duck tongue tacos but still an amazing place to eat!
Service was very fast! Our server was VERY friendly , the chairs were wobbly, table sticky, and the overall vibe wasn’t great but the food was phenomenal. Your best value is obviously going to be during happy hour, but I’d pay a million dollars for the shrimp skewer idc. If you’re considering the eg
The culinary highlight of my KC weekend. The menu is a bit different than listed on Maps. I had the hummus with the pita bread and then couldn’t decide between the pork belly and the grilled octopus so I had them both. The octopus was a standout, with crispy potatoes, yum! Finished with the churros
It smells amazing when you walk in and the food has so much flavor. I've never had any type of Mediterranean foods. The desserts were delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and did great recommending certain menu items that she thought we'd like. We really enjoyed the vibes of this place! 👍👍
Unfortunately no more duck tongue tacos, but the chicken liver mousse and bone marrow are excellent
Wow this is absolutely the place to go for happy hour. Specializes in cool cocktails and tapas. This is worth coming out of your way for if you can make their happy hour. The good: happy hour specials are great prices for probably some of the best tapas around. The special cocktails are also amazin
Enjoyed a great meal here. As soon as I knew I was going to Kansas City I began to research great resturants in the city. As a diabetic I tend to favor Medditerean style cooking. When I came across Extra Virgin I made a reservation and I was not disappointed! I ordered the meze with 3 different type
We snuck in at the tail end of happy hour to try this place out and we were not disappointed. We had a glass of wine each along with the chickpea fries! The chickpea fries were phenomenal and I would come back just for them, I’ve never had anything quite like it. It was served with a lovely romesco
Extra Virgin's numerous topas options will please a multitude of pallets. Consider going with a group of friends so you can share and get an opportunity to taste more. Otherwise, you will be full too quickly. I highly recommend the lamb kebobs. They are fantastic. The exotic bar design enhances the
We have been regulars here. It had been few months that we had not been there and the menu had quite a bit of change such as our favorite fried rice and hanger steak were no longer available but all the food are really really good (except for tomato basil soup which is mot really my taste). The menu
It was the best ribeye steak I’ve eat for a long time! Corsican Pinot Grigio was very good, as well. It was taken with the fish, not with the steak , off course 😂. Probably too loud. My personal opinion.
Fantastic, elevated, Mediterranean influenced “small” plates. Street is loud on weekends but adds to a festive mood. Dishes are larger than expected, all wonderful. Chicken liver mousse and butterflied trout were standouts, beet carpaccio was also fantastic. Reasonable prices, street parking was rea
