Our first, but definitely not our last visit. The food was amazing, the hostess was so kind, & our service was the best we’ve ever had. David was remarkable, & gave a level of service you rarely see anymore.
We dined about 6pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away on the patio for a beautiful el fresco meal. The risotto was creamy and the shrimp perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the lobster bisque. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.
I took my husband here for a part of his birthday surprise out of state. I wanted to wine and dine him and take him some place more fancy due to the fanciest place we have from home is Olive Garden which I actually prefer Olive Gardens food more after trying here. However the atmosphere was great everyone was very kind and it was very clean. I don’t think the food was as good as the money we spent on it but overall was a nice experience.
such a good date spot if you’re craving italian! we went in on a friday evening at 6 and got seated immediately. we got the chicken caesar salad to start (10/10 recommend, the chicken on it was toooooooo good), and then ordered the fillet mignon and pasta vodka w shrimp. the food came surprisingly fast and the service was good!
David is seriously the best waiter I have ever come in contact with, he's awesome. Before you ask for something, it is already there. This is Kansas city's shining star.
Also the place is breathtaking!!!
Thank you
Good times, Great memories…
My wife and I ate here when it opened back in 2004-05. Almost 20 years of special days, birthdays, anniversaries.
We came to celebrate my wife’s 40th Birthday, we love the tiramisu. Thanks to the manager for getting to reminisce and the champagne and to Devin for wonderful service !
My meal was delicious, the service however wasn't the best. I served for 8+ yrs at 3 different restaurants. We came in 1.5 hrs before close and you could tell that things were getting lax because of the time. Saw a server walking around chewing, and my server seemed like we weren't a priority at all. I've been here before and had a much better experience. He seemed like a nice guy, just wasn't very attentive.
Brio Italian Grille is the perfect spot to eat at in Kansas City when you are craving a fresh and delicious Italian meal. Did I mention you have a spectacular view of the Plaza if you are sitting on the patio?? We ordered our two favorite items: Chicken Limone and Chicken Milanese. Every table starts their meal with house bread & better, but we also started our amazing meal off with the Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta Flatbread…so tasty! We also ordered two fresh berry drinks from the bar.
Brio is the perfect spot to go on a date, for a celebration, or to bring friends/family from out of town!
Beautiful Tuscany inspired decor. We were in shorts and Tee's & at first I thought we might be under dressed. But we were greeted warmly and seated right away.
Our cocktails a Strawberry Basil Lemonata & Amalfi Blue Wave were pretty and yummy. But be warned the latter is very sweet.
Pictured is the appetizer, Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta Flatbread. We loved this thin and crispy and I believe from a wood fired oven.
For the main course we both ordered the Pasta Brio. Again we were very happy.
We definitely will visit again.
We are currently enjoying an early lunch before our annual holiday Nutcracker day. We are a large party with several kids, which can sometimes lead to different treatment, but not here at Brio. Our server David was a real treat to dine with. From the very first greeting he was positive, charming, funny, and full of quality recommendations for beverages and entrees. Throughout the meal he didn’t miss a beat on refills, check ins, and making sure all of our needs were met. The food was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our experience! As someone that spent multiple years in the hospitality industry, true service like this is rare these days.
