Review The Capital Grille - Kansas City

Tijani Karaborni
Top notch service: incredibly attentive, friendly, but not overbearing. Kept wine glasses full and both of us very happy. Appetizers were fantastic, steak was cooked perfectly, and the sides were hearty and decadent. Overall very happy with my birthday dinner!

Our first time at the Capital Grille last night! I got a last minute reservation for me and my husband and we weren’t sure what to expect. They had good reviews and are always busy, so that’s usually a good sign. Because of it being Christmas weekend, the plaza was full of cars and it took us a little longer than expected to get parked. I called the restaurant to make sure we could still get a table and they told us to come in. We got to the restaurant and several groups came in after us, all waiting to be seated. However, service is so quick and well organized they had us and all the groups seated in 10 minutes. This place’s service is like a well oiled machine. They sat us in a small room near the restrooms, which was nice because it was quieter than the bar area of the restaurant. I had no idea capital grille was so large! Takes up the whole block!! Our waiter, Corey, was perfect. He was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Our water glasses were always full, we never were waiting for drinks, and there were also additional staff checking tables too. Even how they served the bread: they went in order of how we were sat. The waiter had bread for 3 tables and instead of just serving us and then the tables to our left, he went one by one by the order we had sat down. Lastly, the food was incredible. I got the sirloin and lobster tails. Lobster melted in your mouth, homemade butter is to die for, and steaks were SO tender! We will definitely be back and I can tell it’s a Kansas City tradition to go there, now I know why!! One of a kind place.

Had a lovely meal here with my husband. We had a late lunch and weren’t too hungry, unfortunately. We ordered the tenderloin and lobster tails which the kitchen split for us and the au gratin potatoes. Both were delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the lobster tails were divine. Our drinks were wonderful as well! Service was upstanding and attentive! Highly recommend! Come hungry!!

This was truly an exceptional meal and experience. From the service to the atmosphere and each course in between, we enjoyed our visit. The stand-outs were the crab cakes, lamb chops, sea bass and cheese cake! I've been to many CGs, but I think this may be #1.

Recently went here for a surprise birthday dinner for myself that my significant other took me to! I can't even describe how absolutely out of this world this place was! Food was to die for, it just kept getting better and better! Their bread selection they serve you with the butter is so good as well. We tried the lobster/crab cakes (I wasn't a fan just for personal preference) but my boyfriend loved it! The lamb chops were so divine alongside the greens salad/brussel sprouts, and the coconut cream pie! Our service, Dave (or Dan! I cannot recall at this moment) was so amazing at taking care of us. His recommendations were spot on and I trusted him with whatever he was recommending to us and was very personable and sweet. We plan on this now being a tradition of coming here for special events. Thank you so much to the staff for such a great time and experience!

The food was absolutely delicious! Best filet mignon I’ve ever had. Our server Christian was also great, very attentive, knowledgeable & friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

We ate here for my husband's birthday and it was great! Service was good and he was fun to our little ones. The food was delicious! My kids had Mac and cheese and they loved it. I got to taste it and it was divine. I had the citrus glazed salmon which could have had more of the flavor present but it was good non the less. My husband had the ribeye I believe and he ordered it medium but it came medium well. Although it wasn't medium it was good and he enjoyed it.

Amazing, definitely the best lobster mac and cheese i’ve had, debatably the best filet mignon. Ask for Gaspare if you go. Girlfriend and I we’re celebrating our 2 years, showed up 5 minutes before closing and they treated us amazing

Wonderful, Classy, and upscale. The wine menu was exclusive and lengthy. The food was absolutely phenomenal! Both the steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. The Parmesan fries were delicious but seemed oddly out of place with such a decadent meal…still worth it though. Went for a birthday celebration and received the dessert as a comp from them…the chocolate dessert was very rich and the cheesecake was creamy—both very excellent! We tried all the Bourbon drinks but the in fashion was my personal favorite! Highly recommend but be prepared to pay for the ambiance, exquisite food tastes, and drink selections! Worth it though!

Recommend coming here right at 5pm, especially on the weekends. We received wonderful service from the moment we arrived. Then we had Mark, in the bar seating area, who was fabulous! The food was excellent. We had French onion soup, clam chowder, and their surf and turf. Plus, they surprised us with a “Happy Anniversary“ plate of mini desserts. It was truly a wonderful evening.

There are steak restaurants and then there is the Capital Grill down in the Plaza, Kansas City. Our party of ten had their Private dining room, attended by, Stephan, unquestionably one of the best waiters, I’ve come across in a long time, old school, just ask and he’ll make it happen. Andrea, hostess extraordinaire. Dry aged steaks, OMG, I had the peppercorn with Cognac cream sauce. The filets, with lobster, melted in your mouth and the lamb chops, yes I said lamb, was to die for with its Loganberry compote. Saturday nights always busy here, so we had to vacate our room, but we finished up out in the bar, with a couple of bottle of Taittinger and a bowl full of sinfully delicious handmade chocolate truffles. Executive Chef Matt Livers and his team will make this a power lunch, romantic or celebratory dinner, an occasion to remember.

Really good food and the service was decent. Ordered the fresh lemonade and it was delicious. We had two sandwiches and both were really tasty, they just didn't really stand out compared to other lunch sandwiches at other restaurants. I don't know, maybe I just needed to try something else and that would have done it for me. The side of fries were great though, I think those might have been the best I have had. I would go back and eat again. For lunch at a place like this, prices were not bad at all.

My favorite restaurant in the Kansas City area!! The bone-in Kona crusted steak with shallot butter melts in your mouth while the gourmet mashed potatoes are Heaven! This is my idea of perfect comfort food! Don't pass up the Cre'me Brule' !!

Kc's best. Hate to say it because it's a "chain" but Capital Grille is Kansas City's best steakhouse. Excellent prime cuts of beef and prepared to perfection every time. Best lobster I've had in town as well.

Excellent for Groups. Booked a business dinner for 8. Jevene Uland was our waitress and she couldn't have been more tailor made for our group. She was funny, smart alec and knew her alcohol - everyone in the group loved her. Service was fantastic from all team members; we will be sure to book future business dinners with Capital Grille.

Stinks. Terrible. After making reservations a week prior to dinner date...was ignored for at least 25 minutes after being the second couple through their doors. People on the street walking in got a table before I did. Staff didn't even acknowledge us....till we were walking out. Went directly across the street to Zocalo's...was seated immediately, had a great steak and wonderful service by Elijah our server. Spent about $150 there at Zocalo's. Capital ought to really re-educated themselves on what customer service should be. I will never patronize this joint again. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

Lets be realistic. While the Midwest might be known for its meat production, Capital Grille is known for its steak. There isn't any place better in my opinion.

The calamari with spicy peppers and crab & lobster cakes have been a staple in my diet since I was 7. And for the past 19 years, I've been back again and again to celebrate all kinds of fun at the Grille and will for many years to come.

Don't want to spend a ton? Sit in the GREAT lounge area that the Kansas City Capital Grille has to offer. That and a glass of wine off their list is almost sure to make a after work event stunning.

Great food, so-so service. We hadn't been to this location in about 5 years so we were excited to see how it stacked up relative to some of the negative reviews.

We both had steaks and they were fantastic. As was the salad and the dessert.

Our server was good. Very good, in fact. But she was gone for a loonnnggg time, many times, while we were there. We expected better. Irritating.

Amazing. Love this place. better than Plaza III. my bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious as well. i cook a great steak at home but if i'm going to go out and pay for someone to make me one i'm going here.

Amazing Experience All Around. I rarely write reviews, but felt like I really needed to after our experience last night. We had a group of 9 to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving at the front door, we were greeted by two different people. We were unfortunately about 15 minutes late checking in for our reservation, but the hostess was incredibly friendly and gracious and we were seated immediately. My husband had mentioned my birthday when making the reservation, and to my delight, they seated us in a small private room. There was birthday confetti on the table, which was a very nice touch. Joe was our waiter, and he was fantastic. Just the right amount of attentiveness without being intrusive. Drinks were good, the wine list was overwhelmingly large, and the food was phenomenal. We shared several appetizers around the table (raw oysters and the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella). Several of us ordered salads and soups, and the entrees varied from the Filet Oscar to the bone in filet special and the seabass special. Everyone agreed that the food was perfect, with the highlight definitely going to the lobster mac n cheese. At the end of the meal, Joe presented a creme brulee with a birthday candle in it, which happens to be my favorite dessert. When I asked my husband if he was responsible, he just shook his head and said "They nailed it." Which they did. All around. Thank you for an amazing birthday night, Capital Grill!

Speed of Lunch? Hardly!. My Plaza office wanted to catch up with a co-worker who has been working remotely for several months with a nice Restaurant Week lunch at The Capital Grille. I've never eaten at Capital, and jumped at the chance to join them. I don't know if reservations are par for the course, or only because it was Restaurant Week, however, we arrived on time for our 12:15 appointment and was pretty quickly ushered to our table, which was reserved for eight, but because of work pressures, only five could come. The place exudes old money and power dinners with dark wood and fancy, gilt-framed paintings. However, the charm quickly wore off. Our service was pokey. Considering this was Restaurant Week, a time when places use this promotion to show off everything that is good about a restaurant....they should have amp'd up their game. I had the potato leek soup (good, silky, tasty) and sea scallops (served on a bed of Israeli cous cous with olives - excellent). Others had their famous truffle fries (excellent!). But, another disappointment was dessert. "Homemade" cookies!?! Several of us commented that this was lame. They tasted fine, but were not in the excellent category, and certainly not befitting a promotion such as Restaurant Week. We expected something like a decadent dessert shooter. We left, over an 1-1/2 hours later, wondering if we'd still have jobs when we returned. Considering their website boasts about the "speed of lunch," I think management needs to revisit that statement. I'd often wondered what was behind the massive doors with the doorman outside. Capital Grille, you are now off my Bucket List. Only three stars from me for an uneven and lackluster performance.

OK I GUESS. I used to dine here twice a month with customers. Haven't been in a while and went last night for a special celebration. Martinis were delivered to table at room temp. Long wait times between visits by server. Sides were great. In my groups opinion steaks were ok. We had bone in filets and delmonicos. Medium rare ordered steaks were medium and medium ordered steaks were close to rare. Caesar salads were nothing special.
I will probably choose 801 chophouse or Ruth Chris next time as I have never had a marginal experience in either.

I was absolutely blown away by our experience at The Capital Grille last night! My husband and I decided to go "all out" for our one year wedding anniversary, and made reservations at TCG online. In the commentary box, it asks if you are celebrating anything, we entered "anniversary" and thought nothing more of it. Upon being seated, we were approached by our waiter, Sebastian, who greeted us by name and thanked us for choosing TCG for our anniversary! We were floored! But it didn't stop there... After our fabulous dinner (my husband had the porcini delmonico ribeye and I had the tenderloin with butter poached lobster), we were presented with the most beautiful dessert, the flour less chocolate espresso torte, complimentary! Never in my life have I experienced such amazing service! We have found a new favorite for sure!!

An Amazing Experience. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The service was far more than outstanding, as was the meal in it's entirety.

For our six year anniversary this was the perfect find. We started the evening with a complimentary wine tasting, because we couldn't decide on a wine. Had the crab/lobster cakes, which were perfect, juicy and paired perfectly with house made horseradish sauce and a corn salsa.

For the dinner I had the Seared Tuna Steak raw, as it should be. Expecting a 6-ish ounce meal, and out came a 12 oz, perfectly seared and seasoned Tuna Steak with gingered rice and 3 absolutely amazing dipping sauces; one wasabi based, one savory and soy based, and the other tangy and ginger based.

We were then give complimentary Champagne, Strawberries and a Chocolate Torte with Raspberries.

Everything was served with flare by our, I could only call her Host, Celia.

The Capital Grille is a true culinary experience which everyone should try!

Long wait even with reservations. We visited on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. Granted, it was a holiday weekend, but we had reservations for 4 at 8:15pm and didn't get seated until 9:10pm. Then we waited for our waiter for another 15 minutes. Our friend got water dripped on her twice when the wait staff filled her water glass. There was a strange request to take our white napkins and replace them with black ones -- which my husband ended up not getting a napkin so we have to request one for him. Once we received a waiter, the service was good. Sadly, our leftover lobster mac and cheese was not packed to take home along with our steaks as we requested, so the leftover (and our money) was wasted. We were given some butternut squash soup as an appertif on the house while we waited at the table for our meals. Go early on a non-holiday or expect a long wait. And unless you're a high roller (and possibly rent a wine locker there), you'll have to wait a while even if you have a reservation. Also, considering the tab for two people, with one glass of one and one margarita, two steaks, two mediocre sides, the tab was $200. Yes, the steak was excellent, but with the wait, the so-so service, being crammed in there with a zillion other guests, it didn't justify $200. For less than $100 for the same items, we can get faster and impeccable service with superior food at Pierpont's.

Excellent Place to Spend The BIG 4 0. We spent my 40th birthday @ the CG and I will be going back for as many birthday dinners as I'm able too. We started out with salads or soup. I had the clam chowder which was clean and fresh, no seafood odor which meant it was very fresh and prepared correctly. The salads were all flavorful and fresh as well. For our meals, I had the Delmonico steak, my wife had the Kona crusted bone in Sirloin, and my In-laws had salmon. Everything was prepared to perfection. The flavor of both steaks was outstanding and the size of the salmon along with the flavor was top notch. We two sides, the garlic infused sautéed spinach and the lobster Mac 'n cheese. I Highly recommend both, the flavor of the spinach was fresh and nowhere close to over cooked or soggy. The lobster Mac 'n cheese was the best I've ever had. We skipped dessert since I had home made apple pie waiting for me at the house but that didn't stop me from eating the cheesecake with berries they brought me for my birthday. Overall, the best steak I've had in any upscale restaurant and well worth the price.

Pricey. Went here for an anniversary dinner. Was the food good? Yes. Was it $100/person good (After tax, tip, sides, salads, etc) no way. I've had better steaks at restaurants that were almost half the price.
Our server was very polite; however, once we got our entrees, she did not check on us for over 30 minutes (that is not an exaggeration). Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

Overpriced!. Ridiculously overpriced and so-so food! Not worth the money. Bristol is much better and less expensive!

So many other options. Capital Grille has always been "the place to go". We have chosen the Grille for many years to celebrate all special occasions. They have lost their touch.

Our last few visits have been quite disappointing. We have learned their food is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, lacking in quality, full of fattening fillers and rather "yucky" (may I use that adjective?).

The Grille is not once what it was. The entire establishment has become exhausted and overrated. The entire venue needs a full overhaul.

If I could say just one thing to anyone considering Capital Grille....DON'T DO IT! There are so many other options in KC that will be more impressive than this venue!

AWESOMENESS!!. Food, ambience, cocktails, service. Could not ask for a better dining experience!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!
Fry Baby
Steaks!. The filet was cooked to perfection and you MUST try the lobster mac and cheese....holy moly!

Capital Grille Kansas City. Had dinner here on a Wednesday night; I made reservations and glad I did as even at the 8:00pm seating time the restaurant was full and lively. I have eaten in other Capital Grille locations (Orlando and Baltimore) and have always enjoyed the classic American steakhouse experience they offer, however the Kansas City experience left me disappointed due to a poor server experience. I honestly think he was drunk, as from start to finish our waiter forgot, overlooked or left out something which for the quality of service I have had at other Capital Grille's seems unusual.
For our meal we ordered a bottle of the 2007 Jordan Cabernet. We shared an appetizer of the hot pepper calamari (fried, not grilled), which while tasty is not the best I've had, and the plated tomato/mozarella/basil/balsamic combination which was excellent.
My colleague ordered the sea bass feature and I ordered the filet oscar. For sides to share we went with the parmesan truffle fries (love these) and asparagus.
For dessert my colleague went with the flourless chocolate espresso cake (very good) and I with a 20 year Taylor Fladgate port.
Overall the meal was good, but not quite up to the same standard I've had at the other Capital Grilles, and the waiter experience was highly disappointing. I can't say I don't like this restaurant as I believe most of the issues of our experience lie with the poor server.
Ella
Capital Grille. Had high... very high hopes. It is possible that my hopes were just too high, but I wasn't really that impressed. Don't let me mislead you, the food was by no means terrible. However, it was by no means phenomenal, either. For me, this was quite disappointing considering price point and reputation. I also found service to be inattentive and lacking (likely due to the waitresses drinking Jack Daniels all night long, which she admitted to our table...). I ordered the tomato, basil and mozzarella salad along with the miniature lobster and crab burgers. As I said above, the food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Based on the food alone, I'd certainly return....if I didn't have to pay the bill. If I am going to spend that kind of money on a meal, I'm going to some place like Le Fou Frog where I know that I'll be blown away (and my waiter won't be trashed). Overall, I'm going to give it a second chance (with a new waiter). I'm told that I need to return and order the lobster mac 'n cheese, then I'll be able to write a proper review. We'll see... we'll see...

We went there for my friends birthday .It was lunch time but our server told us we could order from the dinner menu . It was absolutely fantastic !!!! Way to go capital grille you are worth every penny !!

Outstanding!. Visited on a Tuesday night for a celebratory dinner. The food was outstanding, the service was wonderful. It was expensive but well worth it for a special occasion. We had our 13 year old son with us and the server made him feel special and not out of place.

Special place done right. Great people and great food. Bone in sirloin is a must!

Excellent Meal. This is one of the best places in KC to get a great steak. The service is always incredible and I love what they have to offer. The Filet Oscar is my personal favorite on the menu and the Lobster Mac and Cheese is sinful! This will always be my favorite fine dining restaurant in KC.

Amazing Food and Service!. We dined here on a Tuesday night. I had never been before but I knew I was in for a treat from word of mouth. I was not disappointed! We started with the smoked salmon appetizer. It was served with a lemon aioli, capers and diced onion. For entrees we both ordered steak. I had the Kona rubbed dry-aged sirloin and my friend had the dry-aged sirloin. We shared the creamed spinach and the sautéed mushrooms. Every bite was delicious. (Thinking about it makes my mouth water!)
Our waitress helped us pick out a bottle of Malbec that paired wonderfully with our food. This was just the first instance of her amazing service. She was very attentive all night and when I left my wallet there she handled the situation as if I were a close friend. Request to be seated in Lauren's section! You won't be sorry!

I love this place. I have been to Kansas City maybe 8-10 times now, and every time I visit KC, I visit the Capital Grille with my mate Randy. We both love this place. The waitstaff are fantastic and know my mate very well. We are looked after extremely well and the food compliments the service very well. Great for a quick lunch at the bar or a long lunch...at the bar, or a great dinner with friends. The Capital Grille is an all round great dining experience.

Capital Grille is our "Special Place". Capital Grille is the place we go for "special". And we have been celebrating special times there for more than 10 years.

The food and wine are ALWAYS wonderful. My personal favorites include EVERY steak I've even eaten there. I have also tried and enjoyed a few seafood entrees just for variety, but the steaks are dry aged and exceptionally hard to resist. Starters, soups and salads are varied and generally quite good. I love the sides of Sam's Mashed Potatoes, the Creamed Spinach and the Lobster Mac n Cheese but honestly have never had a side I did not care for. All sides are sized to serve more than one diner. My favorite dessert would have to be the Crème Brûlée with raspberries on the top but there are several others that are lovely, too.

The service is excellent and generally impeccable. The surroundings are beautiful and understatedly tasteful.

Kansas City is most fortunate to have many very nice restaurants from which to choose. But The Capital Grille is the one that Hubby and I nearly always think of first.

The staff makes every guest feel welcome and special. And they are happy to go a bit further to make a "fuss" for a birthday or anniversary if you tell them when you make your reservation.

Best Steakhouse Ever!. Love the awesome steak dinners we have there! We go there for special occasions and have never been disappointed. You couldn't find a more classier place with upscale dining than this place.
Service is outstanding and very attentive.
We plan on returning for our 38th wedding anniversary very soon.

This is my go to place for a great dinner and evening. I have been here many times for several occasions and I have been pleasantly surprised each time. The service is classical European so don't expect to be in and out. Totally worth the price and great for a "chain".

Lunch today. Haven't been back in a while. I guess I need to stop trying to like this place. Zero service! Why would you assign a sever to a group of 3, us and a large group at same time. Never saw him after taking order, never got bread, etc etc. Yet still they remain arrogant. Btw food was average. I'll just stick with Plaza III. I done.

-----30 Nov, 2010-----

Not worth it. We had slow service, had to ask for everything, had to send steak back, plus when it was right, no flavor. Did not get anything reduced from bill as well. Too over priced for this. I have eaten here for the last time. It seemed that each time the food became more average. And service was as if they were doing you a favor. This is after I used to think it was the best steak place in town! Sad! I guess I'll stay with Plaza iii.

The Very Best. 5 STARS FOOD, 5 STARS SERVICE, 5 STARS MANAGEMENT. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Capital Grille and had a great, great time. The food and service were superb and that happens because of great management.
I have had great dinners from Baltimore to SanDiego and Capital Grille out classed them all.
Thank You everyone at Capital Grille.
Yummy Mummy
I don't see what the big hype is. I don't see anything special about the Capital Grille. It's not horrible - on a scale from 1-10 I would give it an 8. I've had better calamari and steak in town at other places. The people who work here are very snobby.
KC Food Critic
Our Preferred Fine Dining Location. Best aged steaks - good seafood, although the last time I ordered a scallop dish, they were overcooked - twice, since I sent them back to the kitchen. This is an expensive establishment so for a cheaper alternative, try the Sunday evening bar menu with live jazz.

Very bland, Very average. My wife and I went to Capital Grille last night to celebrate her birthday. Evening started out fine as there was no wait to be seated, even without a reservation. I soon discovered why. My wife's spinach salad was actually sub-par, although her crab cakes were pretty good. My steak was average at best. The cut seemed poor and was prepared lacking any flavor whatsoever. I've actually had better steaks at Chili's. The potatoes we ordered appeared to be from a can....very bland. And even the key lime pie was easily outshined by my local grocery store. I'd like to say the service was a redeeming factor, but it wasn't. Our server failed to bring out a steak knife with my dinner, leaving me trying to hack through my steak with a butter knife. I've eaten here several years ago and my experience was much improved. We won't be going back. It was pretty pricey and there are several other better steak places within walking distance of The Capital Grille. My wife is more of a food critic than I am...needless to say birthday dinner was a crash and burn. Thank god I got her a nice gift!

Missed the mark!. Every anniversary we dine at Capital Grille. Experience gets worse each year. We always ask for same booth, at the back of the restaurant on the wall where it's quiet, but they normally sit us next to noisy groups or, when cigars were allowed, close to the bar and the smoke...YUK! This year the food was a joke. My wife ordered her steak medium, it was well done. I ordered medium, it was rare. Hers had fat and grissle. Mine was just tough. The 7 traveling sales guys next to us were there when we arrived & drinking copious amount of wine & liquor. They were just ordering food when we left. And talk about noise, it was unbearable. Not a great night. We will find somewhere else next year. This is sad because I used to bring groups here for luncheons and spend $500-$800 before I retired. In those days you could cut the steak with a fork. They live on their past accomplishments and have become complacent. Oh, did I mention the manager walked by three times and never said a word to us even though someone had decorated our table so he knew it was a special occasion. My wife didn't get a rose this time either. To top it off it took 10 minutes for the attendant to find our coats. We had more fun after we got home and walked the dog and gave the mutt a Benadryl!

Well Rounded. The Capital Grille is one of those locations that offer a multifaceted experience that will appeal to anyone out looking for a relaxing evening. The bar is very active and attractive and provides for an opportunity to either wait for a table, or get knee deep in a bar tab. Hey, it happens!
Regarding the dinning experience, it's really hard to say something that hasn't already been said before. An excellent menu that is consistently executed, paired with punctual and polite service makes coming here a "hard to go wrong" decision.

I make an exception for this chain. Probably my best dinner in Kansas City. It's so hard for me to say that because I make it a point to eat local and promote eating local. Of course, I'm too poor to eat there often anyway. If you are saving up for a very special occasion this would be your restaurant. From the appetizers to the drinks to the desserts, the service is impeccable, it has the ambiance, it's an incredible restaurant. I swore I would never eat there because they booted out The Bristol but we recieved our first visit as a gift. Oh-La-La-they sold me, lock stock and barrell!!!

Special place. Probably one of the best steakhouses I have ever dined in. Exceedingly high class food and decor, prompt and attentive waitstaff, and a price tag to match.

Leave the kids at home, and make it an evening for you and your spouse.

And while my adventurous nature frequently seeks something new and I love to try the latest and greatest, a mainstay like Capital Grille will always be a place we dine

I had the chance to attend a preview event and sample these wines along with a spectacular dinner. The evening started with a live broadcast of Mr. Miliotes telling us all about the wines we would be sampling.
