Sonic Drive-in

So I ordered a large Buffalo chicken and large tator tots. First off, my order of tator tots was missing from the bag at the start. From the photos that I have it's obvious the port size for "large" is tiny. Why did you give me tator tots in a container that shows that half of them are practically missing??? Plus the bowl of chicken is not what I expeced when I chose "large". I got a seperate burger and it's not bad. The size is actually really great, but for having cheese, bacon and a whole bunch of toppings it's surprising bland. The only things I'd get again from this place are a slushy and shake in the future.

So I went with a large group of friends one night. We planned on ordering and eating on the patio. However we found out that u had to use the drive through. So we got in line, each person in their own car. The line was already moving very slowly and it took 45 minutes for me, the first person in our group to be able to place my order. Very disappointing. Then after being there an hour we get our food, only for it to be wrong. Only reason it got 2 stars was the reasonable prices

The second time in a month I’ve got a Not so hot burger. So this time I told him to remake it The girl went back in and the manager came out and stated that the burger was warm did I just want my money back. No I just like a freshly cooked juicy burger. They did cook me a new burger. Still was a little dry Understaffed drive Through and five parking spots that they would only take orders in.

Normally I love this Sonic, however I went Thursday night 4/21 and it was an absolute disaster. Placed a mobile order for 3 chili dogs and 2 slushies to be picked up at 10:40P.M. I arrived at 10:45 and checked in on the app for the stall I was in. About 10 minutes later a notification popped up that someone was on the way with my order. I continued waiting and my order never came out. At 11:05 I pressed the red button to find out what was taking so long with my order. A lady answered, asked for the name on the order, and said she had my order right there and would bring it out right then. I continued to wait and still my order did not come. A family in the stall to my left was having the same issue and finally a young man brought out there order. I asked him what was going on as it had been nearly 40 minutes and I was still waiting on my food after being told twice it would be coming out. He stated he was unsure what was going on as he worked in the kitchen and everyone who was supposed to be working the front of house was just huddled around the manager ignoring all the customers. He was extremely helpful and finally brought out my order at about 11:25P.M. but the entire ordeal was ridiculous and beyond reasonable. 40 minutes for 3 chili dogs and 2 slushies is insane.

Best ice cream around. They changed the limeaid and it’s a matter of preference but not for me. Too sugary. Burgers seem better than before. Biggest issue is that they never have stalls open and do not have signage up to notify. The drive thru line will wrap around the parking lot. Very slow. Most likely a shortage of staff as most places have. My suggestion is to use signage to direct customers so they do not park and wait just to be told after waiting a lengthy time they cannot be served in the stalls. Food 5 stars. Long lines and lack of signage 3 stars. I will meet in the middle with 4
