My favorite location partially because it's so close to my house...but their servers are (generally) nice and the food comes out so quickly. My little family of 3 love the Happy Hour specials. We get the nabe that's on special plus we always get the mushroom medley and french fries (for my little guy).
Kohl who is the assistant manager is our absolute fave. Please go visit them and you won't regret it!

Terrific service, perfectly prepared and presented entrees and appetizers, servers addressed us all by name, and I even got a personal Happy Birthday song by all of the staff.

Happy hour is an amazing deal. We come here almost once a week and a half. The crew is so friendly, like you're eating at a family member's house. The food of course is excellent and comforting. We love it here, and our 2 and 3 year old do too! Try the new late night bar program. It's nice to have an option to drink at somewhere other than a dive bar in Kaneohe.
Great for lunch deals. Mushroom medley is a must.

Its always good food and the service is always great! 4 stars because I'm not sure if management changed but the bathroom used to be something to walk into. It was immaculate and well maintained with listerine and stylish Japanese rocks. Now its run down with broken doors, dirty sinks, and dirty walls. Their dishwasher also needs some quality control because every time I go there's at least one set table dish still dirty. The servers also should check to make sure the burners have gas before each table because our server brought our nabe turned on the burner and as soon as he left both burners were out of gas. Also, suggestive selling or upselling should be encouraged as all they said was, "its happy hour" but did not explain what's on the happy hour menu nor suggest whats good or of good value during happy hour. Should use more descriptive words.
it's located in a plaza not in the city. we went to the byodo in temple, and found this nearby restaurant. loved the pork bone broth and the sesame sauce add in. very different from what we normally have in California. price is surprisingly affordable as well. oh be sure to try their dessert, can't resist it even for someone like myself who doesn't eat a lot of dessert
