Always love the food here and staff is really nice. The portion size is really big for the cost. Only downfall is the wait for food when they are busy. Have stood in line to pay for a take out order for 45 minutes after calling in 45 minutes prior to getting there. There seems to only be one waitress for the whole restaurant when we come in who also works the cash register.

Me and my wife loved the food. The service was fantastic also. When we got there the buffet was ending and the waitress said there wouldn't be any more food put on it. So we ordered some things that would have been on it and they ended up giving them to us for free because they would've been on the buffet if it weren't for a few other customers.

TLDR version: "Awesome!" This is a small family owned business I've frequented for years; the owners actually work the kitchen everyday and are very nice people. Large menu, most of the meals are very good but there isn’t too much difference between a few of them. The takeout meals are HUGE; a lunch is very filling, and you can usually eat two meals from a dinner size. Prices are very reasonable. Buffet variety is small, but items are usually kept fresh. I like most of the meals on the menu and they even let me custom order them to my liking. This is the only place I've found eggrolls I like. The wanton and eggdrop soup are the standard stuff you find at any cheap oriental buffet restaurant. Dine-in waitress service is hit-or-miss depending on who they hire that year. Only reoccurring problem I’ve had over the years is rarely they may give me the wrong rice with a takeout order; which isn’t a huge problem. ABC: Almond Boneless Chicken is always a safe meal bet for new comers and kids; but their stir-fried meals are where its at! They're closed during most holidays. I have NEVER had a bad meal at this family owned business located in my home town of Kalkaska. The portions are large and satisfying. The chef cooks to order and will modify any item to your liking! And if you you'd like to change the heat value up or down once the dish arrives--no problem! The egg drop soup is light and full of flavor and the hot and sour soup is my favorite! Yummy place to have in our community. Try it! You will agree.
