One of the few places I'll give a full 5 to. I love all the food this this restaurant! Their egg drop soup is amazing. It's a chicken broth with cabbage and large drops of egg. Where other places have almost a thick/syrupy texture to their soup, Indo-China Gardens is a light, fresh beginning to an even better meal. I go for their Thai menu; Pad-See U being at the very top of the list. The chicken, egg, broccoli, pea pods, onions with the wide stir fry noodles in that delicous gravy/sauce is just to die for. The portions are enormous...you will either be taking home leftovers or rolling out of the restaurant. The lunch buffet has little to chose from, but anything you chose (I suggest a little of everything) will be delicious and have you craving more when you're done. This is one of my favorite small restaurants in Michigan.
I love this place! The egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and crab rangoons are great, and the egg drop soup is absolutely to die for. I have eaten at Chinese restaurants all over the Midwest and I have never found egg drop soup this good. The sesame chicken is also excellent. I can't get enough of their egg drop soup. If I had one near me, I would eat there every day. Sadly, it is not a chain, but a cute little mom and pop joint. I also recommend their tea, ginger green beans, spicy Szechwan chicken, and wanton soup. An all-around great place to eat, and the prices are good, too.
I love this little gem! They have a nice buffet with about 12 options plus rice or fried rice, everything is tasty and the staff is very friendly. Their menu options are delicious too.

Show up about 10-15 minutes past the wait time and you'll have no issues. Food is good as always.

Me and my wife loved the food. The service was fantastic also. When we got there the buffet was ending and the waitress said there wouldn't be any more food put on it. So we ordered some things that would have been on it and they ended up giving them to us for free because they would've been on the buffet if it weren't for a few other customers.
I have NEVER had a bad meal at this family owned business located in my home town of Kalkaska. The portions are large and satisfying. The chef cooks to order and will modify any item to your liking! And if you you'd like to change the heat value up or down once the dish arrives--no problem! The egg drop soup is light and full of flavor and the hot and sour soup is my favorite! Yummy place to have in our community. Try it! You will agree.
Always love the food here and staff is really nice. The portion size is really big for the cost. Only downfall is the wait for food when they are busy. Have stood in line to pay for a take out order for 45 minutes after calling in 45 minutes prior to getting there. There seems to only be one waitress for the whole restaurant when we come in who also works the cash register.
Our service was great. The food was fast & fresh. The pot stickers are so very good. The egg drop soup is also delicious. Our waitress was warm & welcoming. We will be returning.

This is a small family owned business I've frequented for years; the owners actually work the kitchen everyday and are very nice people.
Large menu, most of the meals are very good but there isn’t too much difference between a few of them. The takeout meals are HUGE; a lunch is very filling, and you can usually eat two meals from a dinner size. Prices are very reasonable. Buffet variety is small, but items are usually kept fresh.
I like most of the meals on the menu and they even let me custom order them to my liking. This is the only place I've found eggrolls I like. The wanton and eggdrop soup are the standard stuff you find at any cheap oriental buffet restaurant. Dine-in waitress service is hit-or-miss depending on who they hire that year. Only reoccurring problem I’ve had over the years is rarely they may give me the wrong rice with a takeout order; which isn’t a huge problem.
ABC: Almond Boneless Chicken is always a safe meal bet for new comers and kids; but their stir-fried meals are where its at!
They're closed during most holidays.

Their food is traditional yet very home made. Several of the dishes I wouldn't ordinarily eat i love here. I usually have extra for work the next day and I swear its almost as good cold out of the cooler. Nice people great food!!
