Best cinnamon roll... ever..!!! Make sure to have CASH, as there is not a card option. This place is truly a hidden gem.
I’ve been wanting to go to this bakery since last year before covid. I am so happy to have gotten a chance to be there this weekend.
This is a small bakery. I was after for Anpan (sweet bean filling) roll. So lucky to have secured few. The most famous one is Anpan with mochi inside. Our neighbor can’t eat enough of it.
We got there around 9am on Saturday morning. So many trays were emptied out already. That is why I feel very lucky to get what I was there for - Anpan.
One customer (w/family) at a time, so you expect to wait outside.
I enjoyed each bread. You can tell how it is baked with care and careful attention to the detail which is Japanese is very good at.
Besides Anpan, I really enjoyed Coconut Cinnamon Roll. Wow, it was yummy! Can’t wait to go back there to get cinnamon rolls already.
Cute bakery in Kailua. Took a nice morning drive with mom to check this place out. Yummy Janpanese style bread!! Cute little store and the owner is very nice and friendly! This place is a must!!
Their breakfast pizzas and muffins seemed to be made with their spinach dough. My favorite was the egg pizza and spinach muffin. I warmed it up in my airfryer for about 3 mins and it came out crispy on the outside and fluffy/airy on the inside!!
Tried their mochi anpan (a must), glazed donut buttermilk donut, and apple roll. They were all amazing!! Fluffy and not as sweet... just right... reminded me of the bakeries I tried in Japan.
I will definitely revisit!! Recommend going there early if you plan to go since they only allow 1 cutomer/family at a time and there will be a line.
Soft and heavenly cinnamon rolls. Guy ahead of me bought out the chocolate ones and practically everything else left. I arrived way too late. Get there early.
I went to the farmers market at Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center and noticed people standing in line waiting to get into Nene Goose Bakery. I got in line too and asked the gal in front of me what she'd recommend? She said the cinnamon cream cheese pastry was good, Japanese bread and she mentioned a bunch of other items. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter pastry, baguette and Japanese bread roll. First, I'm so glad I waited in line! Second, it was delicious! My friend loved the roll too! Definitely going to be returning to this bakery!!!!
Love this place. Love their breads, pastries, pig in the blanket & mini pizzas are the best. #1 the most buttery & delicious butter rolls gotta go early or order ahead of time. You will always be happy with whatever you choose. Love the owners!!! She is the sweetest and so kind. Stop by you will be so happy you did.❤❤❤
Flaky buttery butter rolls and delicious bread, Long johns is a crispy donut filled with custardy sweetness. There are so many choices to choose, Stop by and enjoy their goods. You may have to wait but the wait is worth it! Visit Nene Goose and enjoy!
Nene Goose Bakery owners, Cheryl and her husband Humuhumunukuapua'a, have the cutest little bakery on the Windward side of Oahu. Their baked goods are all delicious. I've tried them all and gained a lot of weight without any shame. Their glazed donuts rival Krispy Kreme and they have the best fresh baked breads on the island. Love this place!

We ordered glazed donuts and chocolate donut today. It satisfied our donut craving from a nearby local bakery.
Overall pretty good we got there late so the selection was sparse but the cream filled long John was chilled but still excellent. Not to sweet and break was not soggy. There was another bakery that I preferred but this was a good local choice
