Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen - Kailua - Photo album

Our last visit was 13 years ago when we lived on Oahu. What an amazing treat to return today hoping for the delicious experience we had so long ago and to receive it. Stood in a short line on a rainy Wednesday. Ordered at the door, paid inside, and were seated right away. Must order the original pan
We started coming here many moons ago when they were at their original location, which was a cozy little place. They've since moved twice, each time into a bigger location but still in Kailua. I'm glad to see they survived covid and still very popular. We all got our fill of the original pancake
We had to wait outside for someone to take our order first, before being seated at our table. It was odd, but they were trying out a new method of seating/ordering. The food was delicious! We got the Hawaiian spicy chicken wings and macaroni salad, which was amazing. As we were eating we noticed eve
For the last decade, I dreamt of Boots & Kimo's macadamia nut sauce pancakes. I visited B&K 11 years ago when they were at a smaller one-off plaza. Back then, I remember waiting 1.5 hrs but it was totally worth it. So after a decade and change, here I was reliving my dream. B&K had moved to a large
My entire family enjoyed the place and food, wish we could have eaten even more! For breakfast we ordered blueberry pancakes, the galbi, puleho ribs, corned beef hash, and a hamburger. Everything tasted amazing and just the right portion. Our host was incredibly kind and charming thank you to her as
Their pancakes are delicious and the service was great. I visited in April ‘23. They were short staffed, so before I was able to get into the restaurant, I had to look through the menu posted on the window and put in my order with a person. After that, they seated me quickly and my order was out pr
The hype is worth it. The menus are posted on the wndows and you order with staff at the front door before you go inside. Once inside, you pay for the meal (including tip) before they seat you. I arrived at 11:50am on a Thursday, paid, got seated, and had my food and drink at 11:55. I was shocked. V
This place came highly recommended and it held up to our expectations! Such good food and nice people! Thanks for an awesome breakfast!
The food was delicious. Also, the restaurant was full, so probably you will need to wait 5-10 min on a queue till you get in. The staff was friendly.
My meal was super delicious 😋 Best brunch I had in a long while. The French Toast is AMAZINGLY good! I can't believe I ate the entire serving. I will be visiting again.
The pancakes were sooooooooooo so so so so good! You have to get pancakes at least to try because they are unreal. We also got a mahi plate, BLT and omelette which were all excellent as well and had blueberry pancakes to share :)
All my kid ( young adults) enjoyed breakfast, best meal as a family ! pancakes were delicious along with the hash browns and hash ! Best part was how excited my wife was about Tiffany being a regular customer.
Amazing breakfast 😋 This place is a must splurge. There is a line for a reason. But trust me it is worth the wait. Get there early and enjoy the wonderful tastes.
We came to this place because relatives who live here highly recommend their Mac Nut Pancakes. We're not disappointed. The sauce is something special, and we wiped the plate clean. As to the other dishes, they are quite all right but not markedly better than some other local fares we have tried.
From the start it's amazing. They take your order outside and you pay for it right away. They seat you and in less than 10 minutes you have your food. The food is so good, we've already gone twice in less than a week here. The staff is extremely friendly. Try the pancakes with the macadamia nu
The food was good and the wait wasn’t too bad. Got the moco loco which looks gross but tastes delicious. I wanted to try the pancakes was was a little disappointed that I had to spend $15 for a short stack but they were quite tasty. It’s a little weird that instead of cream or milk they have cof
I searched some places to eat before we went to the island and the food was amazing from the bacon fried rice and the banana macadamia nut sauce pancakes that were to die for . The short ribs were awesome also and the gauva/orange juice was great. Highly recommend this place , the wife and I loved
Boots & Kimo's is a diner style, authentic Hawaiian breakfast restaurant. We had some breakfast plates... Spam and eggs were good, the ham steak was cook nicely, and the Grandma's recipe hamburger steak had nice flavor but was overcooked. The famous Kimo's Macadamia nut pancakes really were unique.
