Only negative thing the waiting time for the drink that is unbelievable for how simple the menu is.
Said so, the papaya with chia porridge was AMAZING, and so were the bagels we took to go with cinnamon and raisin bread.
Nice wine selection too
This place opens early so you can go there to grab a quick coffee or bite. They have cute outdoor seating area. The inside was a bit cold, but it was nice and fresh outside. There was gentleman who dropped his coffee on his way out and the staff or owner was informed by another customer and he came out and told him he will Make him Two new ones. I thought that was very kind. The oatmeal wasn’t bad, The hot Macha with oatmilk Was the Bomb. The lavender late was delicious not overly strong with lavender it was light, the tea called Kona voa tea was rich creamy and soothing the salmon lox with bagel was fresh, lots of capers and 10/10. I would def visit again. Great place and nice staff. I didn’t get any info about their rewards program and the website didn’t mention it also, but if you have rewards go ahead and do it or sign up especially if you will be around for a week or so.
Completely amazing!! As coffee drinkers from Seattle, we were completely thrilled to take the farm tour. Little did we know we were getting shown around personally by the owner! We learned everything about the complexities of growing coffee, logistics of supplying it, and so many awesome memories across their amazing property! It was really so much more then only a coffee farm tour!
Not to mention, the Mauna Kea Freeze is incredible 👌 We'll be back every day of our trip!!
Kona Coffee & Tea was our first coffee stop on the Big Island. We got cortados and the chia parfait. My cortado had macadamia nut milk (which most places on the island serve) and it was delicious. The parfait - chia seeds, coconut milk, granola, frozen blueberries, and honey - was very flavorful and their granola had macadamia nuts in it which boosted it to another level. Highly recommend the parfait. The coffee was delicious too, 100% Kona. The cafe is very warm and welcoming and the service was great too! If you're looking for a good coffee place, there are so many to choose from, but this one feels special and is a must visit.
Amazing coffee and tea house. We had matcha latte with oat milk, lavender latte, and voa milk tea all highly recommend. We also enjoyed a lox salmon bagel, everything bagel and oatmeal all on point. We even witnessed a guess trip and loose 2 drinks. :( The company replaced his 2 drinks so amazing we had a great experience and amazing service ty. We will be returning before we head out back hm.
With such a high rating, I wanted to try their coffee. I was torn between trying their basic drip coffee to get a feel of how it tastes or trying their Kona Bullet as I've made bullet coffee several times, but never tried one at a coffee shop. Impulsively I ordered the Kona Bullet. My wife then ordered a latte and found out from the cashier that they could make an iced latte... What?! I would have ordered an iced coffee if I knew it was available given it was humid and about 85 degrees. Oh well, I'll just taste her iced latte then...
I watched as my Kona Bullet was made and about a tablespoon of butter went into it. Wow, that's quite a bit of butter... I thought to myself. I did like the taste, but the coconut oil and butter completely overpowered the coffee so I couldn't really taste the coffee itself. I should have ordered the drip coffee...
We were seated outside so we could enjoy the surroundings. It was cute to see several geckos crawling about. The more I drank my hot drink, the more I sweated. Had a few sips of my wife's iced latte and it tasted great. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the humidity and temperature, and at this point, I thought: "I should have ordered an iced latte..." Lol
Would definitely come here again to try out Kona’s Coffee! There’s a variety of other drinks you can get here too like teas, blended drinks, and more. The service was terrific as the man who took our order was nice and funny! The atmosphere was pretty cool and had a nice vibe to it (there was a lot of people when we came in however). The drinks were pretty good, however my partner had a caramel drink and it did not taste what it was labeled as (something that they did not like). Overall, love the place!
Been here twice and I love their Macadmaia Nut latte. Place is cute and near other shopping stores.
BEST COFFEE EVER!
Amazing coffee, amazing environment, amazing staff. Kona coffee and tea is a Vibe!
Go just go! You’ll love it
We got 16 ounce iced breve with coconut macadamia nut, 16 ounce white chocolate, macadamia nut, iced breve, and a 16 ounce hot Americano with steamed cream. It was so delicious my husband decided to get a second one while we were still there. We will be back this trip and future trips, bravo coda, coffee you got this Coffee thing figured out.
After visiting your coffee plantation and helping pick beans for an event and hearing your story, my wife and I knew we just had to support y’all as best as we could. Before leaving Kona, we stopped at your cafe and enjoyed a few hot coffees and bought quite a few bags of coffee home (for ourselves and for gifts). As I write this review I’m enjoying a fine cup of dark roast we won at your raffle during coffee picking and it’s honestly some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Keep up the great work, never compromise, you have a phenomenal product. Cheers!
