It seems during season, this restaurant has a long wait; but definitely worth it. The chef is very creative with his menu selections and one can order dishes either on small or large plates. The restaurant is light on seating, but I would be happy just to find a seat at the bar. On the menu, the Boneless Southern Fried Chicken & Waffle is quite good and creative, but I very much enjoy the Chitarra Pasta. The restaurant can get noisy, but who cares when you are eating great food.

Always Creative and Always the Best. Coolinary Cafe is not just one of the best restaurants in South Florida, but one of the best restaurants in the country. Tim and his team are creative and always deliver on the best dishes. Lunch or dinner, this place is a must visit. For lunch, the Chicken Sandwich with Mac n Cheese is a great selection. No matter what, order the Carrot Cake Waffle before heading out.

Tim Lipman and his Team at Coolinary Cafe Drive me CRAZY. When I want creative cooking I know where to go

We who live in the Northern Palm Beaches are blessed and highly favored. I get to run around in shorts and flip flops helping others with their real estate needs throughout Palm Beach and Martin County. I meet new people, have fun and part of my job is knowing what is going on, everywhere. Especially in the restaurants.

I run my own brokerage because I am not fond of chains and feel small local businesses like mine are truly the backbone of America. I feel the same about restaurants and when I run into creative people who have a passion for what they do I have found something special. One doesn’t have to spend long in the presence of Tim Lipman to know he is something special as is his amazing gem of a restaurant that sits right in the middle of the Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens food scene.

I knew Tim was something special when I tasted his brussel sprouts. You see I hate these things and have had them prepared many ways. He actually makes some that I actually like. That my friends is a miracle. Tim and his team at Coolinary Cafe do something else that I love. They post their daily specials on Facebook and those who know me, know I am a junkie for social media. Look me up on Facebook, invite me to be your friend, and see what I mean. So each day I see what Tim is up to and if it looks incredible, as it usually does, you will see me headed his direction.

The other day the specials called my name, loudly. I am glad I listened as the meal we enjoyed the other night might have been one of the Top 10 meals I have ever enjoyed. Anywhere. We started with two of the evenings’ special appetizers: pan seared scallops and pork tacos. Both sent my wife and I into culinary heaven. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the presentation was amazing. They were paired with a celery root and apple salad with dehydrated tomato and this amazing pesto. I don’t know how Tim does it, but I am so glad that he does what he does as it makes me very, very happy.

Not to be outdone the pork tacos were a treasure themselves. The perfectly cooked an dseasoned pork was paired with a lime kohlrabi slaw, radish and cotija that had me wanting more. The kitchen was on fire that night and when Tim stopped by the table to say hi and let it slip that the cobia special was looking fabulous I knew what my entree was. WOW. Let’s face it. I live is a seaside village in southern Florida. I love fish and eat lots of it. Tim’s cobia that night was rubbed with a smoked curry concoction and served on a crispy boniato hash brown base with bananas, grilled zucchini and a carrot & jalapeño salad. This was a taste explosion that only a creative genius could put together. Amazing. Special. Delicious. It’s what Coolinary Cafe is all about.

If you haven’t been, go. It you have gone and didn’t “get it”, go again. If you have gone and “got it” my apologies for this article as your next wait for a table may be longer. It will hopefully bring Tim some new fans and he deserves them. Just tell him the Paradise Sharks sent you and look around as I might be sitting right next to you.

Fins way up for Coolinary Cafe.....

If you are in South Florida for lunch or dinner, Coolinary Cafe is a must. For lunch recently we started with earthy black bean soup and fresh roasted tomato vegetable soup. We then enjoyed a grilled mahi fish sandwich served on a brioche bun with homemade coleslaw, a charbroiled pizza with argula, dried cured ham, oven dried tomatoes and olives. The watercress salad included oven dried tomatoes, hearts of palm, radishes, Marcona almonds and flecked blue cheese. A lite lemon vinaigrette allowed the salad ingredients to shine. A homemade lemonade included watermelon juiced and diced with cucumber and was extremely refreshing. The entire meal was outstanding! It is no wonder this farm to table restaurant has a line out the door. Jenny and staff are welcoming and attentive and Chef Lipman is true to his food philosophy honest, fresh, simple and refined.

We found our new FAVORITE restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, Coolinary Cafe – a Tim Lipman Restaurant . This Farm-to-Table restaurant really delivers on top notch service along with outstanding comfort food. This visit for dinner was the highlight of our overnight stay in Palm Beach Gardens. Located away from the main strip of PGA Blvd, Coolinary Cafe is located in a strip mall that houses a few other restaurants and shops. We heard that Coolinary Café fills up quickly so we headed over at about 6PM. Parking is valet or self park and we were early enough to find parking very easily. The host greeted us and explained we could be seated at a table, or seat ourselves at a spot at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar and so glad we did as you can see the whole kitchen, almost making a separate show. The inside is smaller than you’d expect, but it’s set up very nicely. Tables run along the left wall and the front and the bar is in the middle with a direct view of the kitchen area.

Outstanding! I stopped by to see if I could watch a football game on the SEC network, which at first glance they did not get. I resigned myself to not being able to watch my game and ordered. The manager was not going to let it die and called the owner at home to figure out how to get the game on for me. Staff all go the extra mile. Food is incredible, had the chicken and waffles and the carrot cake waffles for dessert. Simply outstanding from start to finish!

I've been blessed to eat at so many great restaurants in S Fla, this without a doubt is one of the best. Extremely creative menu & amazingly fresh food with such a unique blend of flavors. I can't think of many places I've enjoyed more based purely on food quality, taste & creativity. 5 stars every time I've been there. If this place were on the water it would be booked 24/7.

We started out with the Deviled Eggs , which are almost too pretty to share their name with what you typically find at a barbecue or Super Bowl party. They were perched in a perfect line down the plate with whipped filling both anchoring them and creating a peak in each egg white shell – so yummy. Next, we tried the Crab and Corn Beignets which were perfectly fried and se

Full of arrogance. Food is spotty and the management has become self-impressive over the restaurant's microscopic success. In a larger pond, this restaurant would not receive a mention. The attitude has become such that the guest should feel fortunate to have a table. Success should beget humility. Perhaps once real compeition moves into the area, a new attidute will previal. Until then, i am not dinning.

Angry chef. Food really good. However, thought I was at a WWF match. My husband and I had dinner there on 1/22 and another chef grabbed a coworker by the neck while other coworkers watched. Ugh!!!!! Not enjoyable

Friendly atmosphere. The service was informative and welcoming. The food is made up of local spins on classic dishes. They have a fantastic daily special menu. To top it all off, there is selection of craft brews from all over the country. I will be back very soon.

The meal probably really did embody the essence of "hit and miss" but I would definitely return for my favourites- the flatbread, chicken and carrot waffle. Thanks CC for a refreshing change of pace from the traditional PB establishment. See you in 2014!

Nice little business. The people are friendly and it's very clean. The food is creative (for this area) and is fresh and cooked well. Ask for a full description on each plate as there are major ingredients not listed on the menu that would've swayed us to different items, had we known what else was on the dish. Overall, good little place. I'd go again. Do prepare for a wait.

Amazing place. Prepare for a wait if you are going with a date. Get a group of friends together and go as they only take reservations for 6 or more. I tried about 10 different items the other night and loved them all, especially the duck!
