Alright, let me start off by saying I'm young and white and haven't had much food from other cultures, but personally, I LOVE the food here! Previously I got the curry chicken (as seen in the picture) and this time I got the jerk chicken (forgot to take a picture before eating it, whoops). Both times I've been given enough food easily food 3 meals, especially since I get a 2 or 3 beef patties as well. I wind up splitting the meals up and putting a beef patty with each actually and it works out great! Now I like the chicken, though the curry is a little bland and the jerk just tasted a bit hot (but a bit more flavor than the curry one), and the rice with beans is good too. Honestly the star of the show in my opinion is the cabbage though. I don't know what they do to it, but it's amazing and this time I asked for an extra helping of it because it's so good! The beef patties are amazing too, though I've only ever had them two other times in my life. These are better than the other two though! Next time I go in, I'll try some of the other food, I want to keep getting experience with the flavors, but being a big nervous I started with the two chicken dishes. Another thing to note though, both times I went in, the wait took quite a while. It's just an older couple running the place themselves I believe and it seems like only one of them are there at a time. Took me 20 minutes for my food. But both people were very sweet and friendly and the customers were friendly as well. I feel good going in there and come out feeling happy, which is better than I can say for most places. So my advice going in; expect to wait for your food, but you'll get big portions for the price, and the best things are the cabbage and beef patties!

The food here is so delicious. I ordered the roast beef, and my wife had the goat curry. Great flavor, and so tender and juicy. Rice and cabbage was really good also. Will definitely be back.

A fantastic mix of flavors on each plate. I got to enjoy the oxtail and goat curry which was amazing. The decor reminded me of eating at my grandmother’s house which gave it a nice back home feel that I throughly enjoyed. If you are looking for a really authentic family feel restaurant where you can just go in the fridge and grab a drink while enjoying some good food; this is the place for you.

We tried the goat curry, jerk chicken, and both the Irish moss drink options. All was delicious! The flavors were outstanding! Definitely a stop worth making if passing through.
