I have not been a fan of Cracker Barrel in the past. Seems like they never pass up opportunity to mess up my order. No matter what I order they seem to always get something wrong. So I stopped going for a long time.
Well, I gave it another try as I was with a group that wanted Cracker Barrel breakfast.
I will say, it was good and they got everything right.
I had the double meat breakfast, no complaints. The bacon was fried right, the eggs were right and the breakfast biscuits were perfect. I also had a side of grits and they were great too.
Server was so friendly and we didn't have to wait for refills. They were busy but the food was cooked quick and it was fresh.
If I have another good visit I will add another star for sure.

It had been 15 years since I had visited a Cracker Barrel and it looks like i will be keeping that choice of not eating here. When we visited it was busy and we ordered a sirloin steak and fried chicken both with house salads. I like my salads early like an appetizer so my food is still warm. The salad came out with the food and the wrong dressing so our food began to cool while we waited for the correct dressing. My sirloin steak was ordered medium rare and on one end it was but due to it only being 1/2" thick, the other end was well done. As my girlfriend ate her mashed potates there was a hair cooked into the potates. When the server was notified she apologized but didnt remove the plate that caused my guest to now lose her appetite. Manager was very busy but did stop by and offered to comp the plate. My girlfriend hoped I would have a better experience as she loves cracker barrel but unfortunately she has no interest in returning now as well.

We're on a cross country trip from Utah. We needed a good noon meal today. Found your store in Joplin Missouri. Got the grandma sampler and the chicken tenders. Hit the spot! Holding us over till tomorrow morning. Delicious!

Ever since I discovered this jewel of a of the past, I fell in love with it. Craker Barrel is the place for good old country dinner or breakfast.

Very nice clean and hot food, friend staff, clean bathrooms, no wait, warm atmosphere, right off the highway and back on highway with no problem, we had gotten there right when they opened and by the time we left they was getting very busy and that is a good great sign, thanks y'all

Great food as always. However their stuffed sweet potato was much smaller than usual for other Cracker Barrels I've been to. And the waiter, though very kind was unable to answer correctly if ham was in some of the vegetables. After we delivered them he did verify ham was mixed in, and had no problem replacing the side with meat free vegetables.

Our waitress Erin was wonderful! The food was tasty, restaurant was clean and prices were great. Only negative was being treated rudely by a store employee named Brad who was simply not interested in helping us and made annoyed comments towards us. We’re excited for our next trip to Cracker Barrel!

Would I return: yes!
We ordered two chicken n dumplings with broccoli.
Food was very nice as usual at a Cracker Barrel, but boy was the service and the kitchen slow, and the establishment was not seemingly busy.
We waited over 38 minutes for our food. Normally we order and get served in about 15 minutes at any Cracker Barrel.
But hey, the food was hot, fresh, and that is what matters.
