Cafe Mexicali

Simply don't feel safe eating here. Very few of the guests in line are encouraged or expected to wear masks, and not a SINGLE employee was properly wearing a mask either. Ordering online has 100% of the time resulted in wrong orders, so the only way to ensure the food is right is to go in person, but with the lack of safety at this restaurant I just can't bring myself to eat there. It's a shame because the food is great and they always get my order right in person, but I guess if I want Cafe Mexicali I'll have to go to the Fort Collins location, and it's not worth the drive.

Good tasting food and staff was generally helpful and friendly but we found the menu complicated/confusing to figure out for our first visit. Restaurant was clean with some patio dining available but overall atmosphere was only okay. Food is served in aluminum round rather tall to go pans which proved somewhat difficult to eat the smothered burrito out of. For the money spent for a family of four, we could have eaten at a nicer restaurant for not much more so Cafe Mexicali I would say was not a good value for the money spent.

Do not order on Black Friday unless you have the time. I had the time and didnt mind waiting but the poor staff is hard at work and forget most of my sides. I'm sure its because the place is packed but we ordered 3 different nachos and they just aren't as good without all the toppings. Took the pico and hot sauce from my boyfriends burrito just so i could have something with my chips and meat.

Great experience, food was delicious, hot and served right after cooking it fresh for you to order! Clean, cute, and felt that my health was a priority for them! They make their tortillas fresh in house and they are delicious and huge!! The staff were all very friendly, hard working, and on point with their service! Overall the experience and food was incredible, definitely recommend this place!
