We ate there during Thunder in the Valley 2022. It was super busy. After being seated our waitress, Holly, quickly got our drink orders followed by our food orders. My husband had a normal breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage. I had their lobster bisque soup and a side salad. He said his breakfast was good. My lobster bisque soup was delicious, although I would like to have found some chunks of lobster in it. But it came out creamy and very hot which is how I like my soup. The salad was a normal side salad with just iceberg lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. We were each brought a pot of coffee because I was drinking decaf and he had regular. That works out well in a restaurant that is as busy as they were because you do not have to wait for coffee. To sum it up once we were seated the order was taken quickly, the food came fast, we had a good service from Holly; everything was good including the price! We would return again.

This diner is the absolute best of the best. I frequent here very often for breakfast..lunch ..and dinner. The food is absolutely terrific. The service is impeccable. My waitresses have all been absolutely fantastic. And somehow ...they remember you! The last time I was there...the cute little girl asked about my mom. She actually knew me by name. She knew what we drank and brought them with her as she greeted us. The place treats you like family...warm...caring....so comfortable. Forget chain restaurants!!! Highly highly recommend!

Great local joint with excellent food. The service was friendly, fun, and helpful. The servings were large (I had the aptly named big breakfast), and the ingredients and flavors were top notch. Avoid a chain restaurant and come here instead. You'll be glad you did!

Very disappointed in this place!! And was looking forward to trying the food here . First off we was greeted with a eye roll from a waitress because we had 8 people in our group because we are in johnstown visiting family for mother's day!! Second service here is very lacking never got asked for a refill on my drink sat there for almost 2 hours . Then I Finally asked for a refill never got it . Absolutely horrible service . Food is not that good ! Portions are a little skimpy if you ask me I, only received 5 French fries ! And the "gob cake" is not real gob cake .It was cake with whipped cream ! Yucky !

Clean, old school diner look but run like a tight ship. Had the chipped beef over rye and corned beef hash. Felt the hash was a touch too salty. In hindsight, an egg could’ve mellowed that out. Everything else was nice. Coffee-a-plenty. Good local folks. Quick and kind service. Will come back!

Not our best experience. The corner is awesome but our young waitress was slow and refused to make eye contact. Sat for 45 minutes.
