I really enjoyed my meal here. I started with the grilled mozzarella which was excellent. The tomato sauce on it was delicious. I wish they would have put that on my spaghetti side dish. My entree was chicken bruchetta . It was excellent. I also had a nice mixed salad and the bread was warm. The service was excellent.

Very good! Had the best breaded cod - awesome. Tasted the meat sauce spaghetti and chicken parm. Equally as good. Bread baskets were plentiful. To fill for dessert.

Keep in mind I'm a fairly tough rater as I will have very few 5 stars. Cacciatore's is a good neighborhood Italian restaurant, and you can tell by how the friendly staff know several members of those dining. We started out with a couple of drinks: a Manhattan; and a Glenfiddich. Drinks are a bit on the small side, but not over priced. We split a fried calamari with red sauce, a perfect portion for two and very tasty. Cacciatore's fresh baked bread is wonderful! I chose veal parm with a side of their homemade pasta and red sauce, side salad w/house Italian. While their red sauce paired nicely with the calamari, I found it a little sweet on the veal parm and pasta. The house Italian dressing was also too sweet for my taste. The homemade pasta is very good and they select a different noodle type often. I definitely recommend trying whatever they offer. My wife selected Seafood Alfredo and they were very accommodating with customizing to her wishes. She opted out of the clams and mussels, but they didn't skimp on the shrimp and scallops. The scallops were cooked to perfection a more difficult task than the shrimp which were also perfect. In a nutshell when you dine at Cacciatore's you will get quality food at a reasonable price from a friendly and helpful staff. It was obvious that even the young lady that was cleaning off the tables for the next guests took her job seriously and did an excellent job.

Old school neighborhood tried and true Italian eatery. Been doing it right for years and still do. Fresh warm bread, homemade dressings, authentic menu with nightly specials all at reasonable prices with genuinely friendly service staff that care. Full bar, again with fair prices. Glad to see that not much has changed. Definitely a recommend!

Food was amazing and so was the service. I got the stuffed crab haddock. The flavor was amazing it came out a little cold but the taste was good. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the sauce was well flavored. The side salad with house balsamic as such a balanced taste. The house bread had great flavor but was a little cold as well. Overall great quality and great tast will come again.

Always a pleasure dining at Cacciatore's! Great food great service and reasonably priced. Damien was out server and she was great.I had the Seafood Alfredo and it was perfect. My dining companion had Veal Marsala that also was fantastic. Get there early because they don't take reservations but they may have a call ahead policy.

While traveling to Rochester, I stopped for dinner with my traveling buddy. The service was lovely and the food was very good. We had stuffed clams and crab stuffed haddock, which was the special of the day. The fish was cooked to perfection and very very fresh. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a good restaurant in what was, for me, an out of the way location. Also, great carrot cake!
