Applebee's

Really good experience at this Applebee’s! Appetizers were very tasty. Entrees were plentiful, fresh and had good flavor. Service was polite and prompt. Drinks were fun. They have a good happy hour, too. Will definitely return and recommend. 8/06 Back again and just as good. Blackened salmon was excellent. Pasta was really good and full of chicken. Burger and fries were super. Steak and potatoes perfection. Definitely will return!

Would give 0 stars if I could since we never actually got to dine here. We were told they were short staffed so it would be 5-10 minutes before we could get a table. That's pretty much the way everywhere is so not really a big deal. We decided to go to the bar to get a drink while we waited. Probably the rudest bartender I've ever encountered. She took the time to tell us 3 times it would be a while for her to get to us if she ever would be able too. In the 3 times she walked away from the other guests she could have twisted the top off a bottle of beer! We quickly realized they did not want us or anyone else there so we left and went to smokey bones. We had excellent service and food there, bartender at smoky bones made a $40 tip! I recommend you keep on driving past Applebee's and go to smoky bones. I'll add a few more things. While this interaction happened I observed a server sitting down and playing on her phone. Another server eating and drinking in a corner. Noone was moving with any sort of urgency. So that's not a staffing issue that's a leadership issue. Will never be back and hopefully this review leads you to not ever even try.

I have never had worse service in my life. I can understand if the server is busy and over whelmed, but this was seriously not the case. When we arrived, our server only had one other table, who were already eating. Our server took 10 minutes to get to our table, then never really came back. Her name was Caitlyn and she was more interested in hanging out with the guests at the bar than doing her job. A man named Ben brought us our appetizer, refilled our drinks twice, AND brought out our food. He was absolutely amazing and the only reason we even got to eat hot food. He of course received a tip for his amazing efforts to give us a good experience which had already been ruined. Thank you to Ben, you made my boyfriends birthday dinner worth paying for. We will be asking for you next time.

My daughter and I went here to get something to eat after a movie. It was about 9pm and not particularly busy. The girl who sat us appeared sick with symptoms, bored and disinterested. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold where we were sitting. Our server was pleasant and we inquired about purchasing gift cards and there was some confusion about being able to (or not) using the card to purchase this evening's meal. The manager came to the table and we got that straightened out. I ordered Nachos and a beer while my daughter had buffalo chicken wings with bleu cheese dressing. My nachos arrived well in advance of her wings and they were good. When the wings finally arrived they were not the "buffalo" wings she had ordered and he had also brought ranch instead of bleu cheese. At least 15 minutes later she got the correct wings but still no bleu cheese! Waiter stopped at another table en route. Tick tock... finally got the right dressing, ate and asked for my check. Total was $27.00 and change. Gave server my card and after a few more minutes he brought me a reciept for me to sign that showed MORE ITEMS ADDED TO MY CHECK and NOW over $38.00 charged to my card! My daughter who had previously worked for an Applebees had had enough and summoned a nearby waitress to bring the manager ...who arrived even MORE minutes later! He adequately explained away the mistake on the check (I guess) blaming it on something the cook did and the ordering process...and apologized adding that his cook had become frustrated and actually just walked out leaving HIM back there alone to cook orders! Maybe an employee meeting is in order. We did enjoy the food though once we actually got it all. Sorry but I probably won't be back to this Applebees anytime soon though..
