I had heard many reviews and suggestions from a local facebook page to try this out and we're glad we made the stop on the way back from the beach. No need to be dressed up, and perfect portions! You feel like you're eating on your grandparents porch. I will say the tomato pie was a let down because
Absolutely love this place! We visit Charleston once or twice every year and we always make a trip to the Tomato Shed Cafe. The she crab soup is the best I've ever had. We love the strawberry beet salad and the tomato pie. The strawberry bread pudding is divine. Everything is delicious!
Some of the best freshest veggies I've had in a long time!! The Crab salad was so good and the Crab cake was delicious 😋. Have to go back so I can try more!!
If you are in the area of Wadmalaw Island, Seabrook or Kiawah do not pass up having a wonderful and tasty meal! Huge side selections from collard greens to butter beans and even macaroni & cheese! The Chicken salad sandwich was awesome!!

Amazing! I had the grits, tomato pie, collards, and their skewers. The food is great and the service is phenomenal. The only down side is that I am visiting and won’t be able to try everything else on the menu.
